In todays video I took a weekend solo travel trip to Victoria, BC! Although it's only a 35 minute seaplane ride from downtown Seattle, it was super fun to be in a different country for a couple days. When it comes to Solo travel, it's a great time to see the things you want, adventure, and relax. You don't have to start with some huge across the world trip either, you can simply go to a couple town over!

At 19 years old I had finished my first year on my full time job, Personal told me I had 2 weeks vacation. I signed up to take one. Found a travel agent, booked a trip to Florida flew into Tampa/St. Pete's and rented a car, found my hotel. Spent the week enjoying local restaurants, beaches/pools, and took a boat from the Marina to Paradise Paradise in the Bahamas. I had a wonderful time and even if I were to incur some memory loss, I don't believe I would forget my first vacation.

I took a random weekend + a few days and went out to Denver and fell in love with the mountains. 8 months later and I'm planning to move out that way. I've been going on solo trips every year in October, for my birthday -- This year was a 3 week solo trip to Europe: Paris, Brussels, Gent, Bruges, Berlin and Vienna, can't wait to see where 2020 will bring me!

I love traveling alone! When I was your age I traveled all over the world doing disaster relief. It was overwhelming at times but also an amazing experience, and I partnered with really good relief agencies. Now I only travel alone for work, though sometimes I’ll bring a kiddo with me.

Love Victoria and yes, I have travelled alone it's amazing! You're never really alone, you meet people along the way, can do whatever you want and enjoy the culture. Can't wait around for people to travel with or you'll be waiting a while, just go and do the things you love. I've done Japan alone (though I had a lot of friends there to meet up with, made new ones I've kept in touch with), Ireland alone (met up with people there, made some friends), Vancouver and Victoria alone (again, met up with some people I knew along the way). Love your vlogs, come visit Toronto next!

I'm 22 and I just started solo traveling since May 2019. My solo first trip was New York City and I had so much fun doing whatever I wanted to do at my own pace. I stayed in a hostel which I highly recommend if traveling alone. I will continue traveling solo for as long as I can live :)

I love traveling alone! I went to A Coruña, Spain for a few days and Rome for a week alone while I was studying abroad in France and they were my favorites because I didn’t have to worry about if someone else was having a good time too. I also do day trips a lot to Boston and NYC by myself either for concerts or to hang out and I love it.

I've travelled alone mostly for business and I loved it, better than travelling with colleagues (and boss). Also travelled alone with a baby, wasn't too bad and people were really helpful as I had luggage, stroller and baby; it was a great trip in the end. Looking forward to more solo travel. Thanks for the inspo.

Traveling alone is absolutely amazing. I’ve been to Spain alone and I even did an R&R trip to Miami which was amazing. My only recommendation is to not do it after a breakup bc it might be tough to be alone a lot.

I love traveling solo! It takes some getting used to but it's so nice. You have total freedom - you don't have to stick to an agenda, you can do whatever you'd like. It can be a little intimidating but in the end it's worth it!

I took my first solo trip to Victoria in the summer of twenty seventeen :) And then again in the summer of eighteen & nineteen. Victoria is beautiful and I'm so happy that I went because it has given me so much more confidence to do more things alone while in my own city. You should go back in the summer! Also I never comment on videos but people need to travel alone, it's life changing.

I took my first solo trip 2 years ago for my 30th birthday. I want to San Francisco because it was on my bucket list for about 10 years. I did everything I wanted to and literally walked EVERYWHERE. If I had gone with someone, I know that the trip would've been so different. I wouldn't have been able to absorb the city as much as I did by how I decided to explore it. It was a life changing experience.

Omg! I so recommend doing a solo travel! I did mine to London in September of 2019 and I had a blast 😊 first time out of the country too! 😊 it was so liberating! You get to know the real you! My next trip is to Seattle 😍 can’t wait 😊
