I discovered a few interesting things last night. You can right click on an item in the crafting menu and pick "track" and it pops up a material list on the right hand side of your screen that shows you what items you need/have and how many of the item you are tracking can be made, based off the materials you have in your inventory. (Hope that made sense) It was nice when making foundations and walls and such so I knew how much more materials to collect. You can track multiple crafting items as well. The other tip is when you click on the dino tracking tab, that pull down menu you clicked on, near the bottom is one that tracks the dino's you have knocked out like ASE had.

Club probably be you best poly collector for awhile (minus maybe moschops), so should have no regrets. When ghillie time comes you will need it given the heat the jungle. Good luck! Love the series!

that dilo at 19:20 looks SO pretty. I love how colorful the dinos seem to be in asa! Im not sure if theres new default color swatches for wild dinos or if the new engine makes it seem more vibrant, but either way I love it

I've only put about an hour into ASA so far but I'm loving it! There's been some complaints online about performance, but its early release; that's to be expected.

That Nanite grass from Unreal 5 is amazing. I love it so much. I've been using my Para on Turret mode to find smaller animals.

There is actually a lot to the snapping and new alignment options. It varies by item too. You should take some time to dive into them because they are pretty nice.

Couple of nice updates: Following works better - had my dilos follow me around a rock into the door of my base without needing to go in a straight line. In SP, I was able to hit seagulls with a bow without issue...need to know if that it works on a server.

Gotta imagine they're gonna change the slowly disappearing rocks after they break once harvested. It looks so awkward when they crack and break apart only to shrink and then finally disappear lmao...yet I say all that to say that visually the game looks so much better. There seems to be soooo many new additions and quailty of life improvements to Ark!

I mean sure, if your highest-possible-end pc can even run it at more than 30fps without having to turn all the graphics way down xD I want to like it, I really do. But they didn't fix anything and their lazy import of 90% of the game into UE5 without optimizations makes it unplayable.

An artist, quite a few changes. The creatures pathfinding is better, so if you're running to an alpha, they'll find you a lot easier than they used to building has pretty much had an overhaul there's a lot of spots on the island that was not on but vanilla art

Everyone: Taming in Ark makes no sense. Wildcard: We got you. You can now kill the parents and steal the babies.

@@1GoldenBreeze Can you though? I've tried this a couple times and in each case after taming the parent the baby was still unclaimable. Might just be a bug, but I'd be curious if this has actually worked for you?

You can now paint EVERYTHING Phlinger. Also water taps no longer require pipes. The Intake now has a radius in witch it sends water to all taps, the area can be extended through water tanks.

Love your vids man. I gave up on ark before finding you. Now it’s the only game I play!! Thank you for that. Also you can change the temperature to Fahrenheit in the options menu. I can’t remember exactly where atm so apologies. Thank you again have a great one and I look forward to more videos on ASA!!

Think I understand why we won't get cryopods for a little while. You can easily find and claim baby dinos in the wild, but you can't use cryopods to bring them back, so you'll mostly be limited to babies reasonably close to base. Procoptodons are going to be a must have tame for baby claiming (until we eventually get maewings).

It's cool they added babies but I hope Ark 2 we also get nest and migration patterns. I'd probably cry. Also the auto file storage OMG been begging for that since day 1.

Are you able to do a quick video of ur in game xp setting etc, tweaked mine so many times but seems to start so high. I’m levelling up from just picking up a rock. Like to get it more vanilla but all the setting confused me.

There is a way to increase speed. I saw it on another channel, but I don't remember how to do it. There's some setting in the advanced setting area I think. I don't have the game yet so I couldn't follow along.

I play on console and anytime I hold triangle to access the Dino settings and all that I can’t get past the initial menu. in the previous ark you would hold up down left whatever whatever and it would further open the menu. if anyone understands what I’m trying to explain here please help me out

It’s a separate game and it comes with all free and dlc maps but they’ll release the maps over a period of time then they’ll release new dlc maps

I wonder if the dinos would still run off cliffs and die in the tek cave ,I never finished the island because getting them in tek cave was so hard for me and then to see them die to suicide was too much lol. wonder if you beta test it

Is it just me or is the first person camera view WAY lower than it should be? I mean just look at how tall your character is in third person view compared to the gras, then switch to first person view and you are practically looking through the grass. On my short character I literally can't see over the grass.

Streamers liek you and syntac shoulfd actually be standing up for the ark community with this whole nitrado deal. Eventually this will kill ark and also kill your channels.if they dont fix this server problem i will ban anything to do with ark from my life including watching it. Im sure im not the only one.

Its over, its a contract. ark had to make that deal with the devil or there would be no ark. They have proved they are unable to manage funds already with other investments.
