YOU GOT EXTREAMLY LUCKY !!!! cuz ive NEVER had any thing around me when ive tried to tame one so not sure what you did (spawning them in before video or what ) but good job !! ive never seen them on any other part of the map except the lava area...
Luck and also I always look around the area to find stuff and remember where it is beforehand and lead stuff or the pyromane to a spot where it's lost convenient also I have gotten a rex low and had it follow me so I always have something close by and then when I kill another creature I let the rex eat it so it heals😩👌
Nice, i might try the raft method. I usually fly my argy just above them in the water and bite them till they roar drop off bird and jump on from there :) getting it to roar is the easy part tho, getting kills and flame absorb is the troublesome part especially on volcano biome. So i will be using your method of transporting them to another biome for better munching :D Thanks
So I was thinking I was gonna skip the center so as I was doing my egg and milk runs then I saw the pyro on the wyvren scar on scorched man I’m excited, although you do have to wait for the rain since there no water near the scar but it’s doable, also once the crystal water wyvren comes out might be easier to tame it where you want to instead of leading it all the way to the water source.
If u have access to SE or Island, u can trap 2 Diplodocus near Water (With aggro kiting or grab them with a Rhynio), than look for a Pyromane, bring him near the Trap with the Rhynio or Wyvern (Wyvern is faster), launch him into the Water and hit him to 50%! Now attack the 2 Diplodocus (use Flame Absorb) in your Trap and your Pyromane is tamed in like 10-20seconds with 100% Taming Effectiveness! Maybe Quetzal workes too, if you play on Offical. I did this Tamingmethod on a Privat Server Cluster only with SSA Mod
Interesting sounds like it would be easier to use a wyvern to pick one and then find some Diplos and then start the taming on the Center but that's just my input
@@striffy_boi Yeah probably true, but where im doing it, (i think around a big circle at 48/52) are the most Diplos i guess and there are many many rexes and ceratos, raptors etc that can fuck up your taming effectiveness. Its just safer and my own preference :)
they are quite easily killed - you should have at least one bred rex to munch them ...watch out tho they explode on death its happened to me while trying to tame them more than once. Dont be a drama llama xD
From my testing, it happens once your "Cooldown" gets low. I always try to refresh it before it hits 15 seconds remaining, otherwise I seem to lose taming efficiency. I haven't tested to see the exact number of seconds remaining that it starts dropping at, but I suspect it loses quite a bit if you get to the last 5 seconds where the timer turns red. But I do know if you always refresh at 16 seconds, you basically never lose taming efficiency. Taming efficiency seems entirely tied to the cooldown. I suspect if you were to press E with 16 seconds left, you might not lose any Taming Efficiency at all, but I haven't tested this theory yet.
Make a 3x3 of foundations leave one open at the back to mount the boat and build a box around it then put 3 walls at the front with ramps going out and a gate on either side then 6 walls to finish the box so in all, 8 foundations, 4 ceilings 3 ramps 2 gate frames and 2 gates 13 walls and a door then add beds and extra ramps wherever you like

Nice vid, for the flame absorb do you need to hold R1 and then press L2? Or just press at the same time? Mines keep getting in first person mode when i try it.
ya let me poke high lvl fire kitty on official servers na fam, i made a trap for it in shallow water and shot it with crossbow and on the other end of trap 3 lvl 125+ turtles easy tame less than 2 min on official 1x
