Ive been a fan of tame impala for years as well as being a guitarist and producer, and let me tell you... bro you 100% nailed this sound. From the guitar tones to the drums and synths you absolutely killed this!! keep doing your thing!!
Hey man. This sounds crazy & the outro transition with all those guitars are amazing. I was curious how I could get ahold of you to produce something for me? Maybe we could work on a project together. Keep goin’ 🙏
You were really close, the kevin velcro fuzz sound is a reverb pedal running into a tube screamer, running into a fuzz face. Blast the gain on the reverb and it pushes so much power into the overdrive and fuzz that it starts breaking up.
OOF Super Crispy and love these videos can't wait to see what other bands you got listed but so far I appreciate the indie/alternative/psychedelic genre you looking at!
You got it right, the only thing is that Kevin Parker would do more processing on bass and drums like a lot of compression, saturation etc and maybe some fx
HOw did you make the synths sound so different tonally when they are the same synth off the rack of built in Logic synths? Is the second one stripped off its high tone.
Hey Tristan, QUESTION! What i find hardest is getting the drums to be in time. If i record acoustic / bass first - when i try and add drums in they are always slightly off beat because when i play naturally the tempo shifts tiny bits. How do you get around this? This is probably my biggest hurdle because i have sounds in my head and then hit this and it's like - ffs...
@@TristanMillerMusic Thanks mate. I just want to say thank you. I've been writing music for many years and your videos have been very inspiring as I'm sure they have been for other people. This is inspiring me to get a recording setup and write music again. Thank you man. Your songs are dope. Is their anything else in your chain or just direct into the focusrite and then into Logic?
