I bet that little amp makes those Reese’s hit pretty hard. Also I can imagine with it bridged probably will blow the Reese’s up.

i fully get the concept, but it's just stupid why they did that.. why not just put the extra terminal ?

thank you for this great video. i am very new to the Taramps Family, I just purchased a 1200x4 Taramp to run 8 4 ohms speaker. I dont know why Taramps made it seem so difficult to hook up to the center terminal. hahaha but that is what makes Tramps different from other compedetors.

I just got one of these new basically for free on Ebay when i bought the big boss 3k and bass knob with clip light combo. They sent me a deal on top of it and i ended up paying $333 for the new big boss 3k in black color, the new version ds 440x4, and the good bass knob with the clip, power and protect light. Cant beat that deal.

I am new at this and I would love to ask some advice. I have 4 door speakers(8ohms) each. I have bridged my 4 channel amp to 2 channels. I ran my door speakers parallel to drop the ohms to 4 each. Now, I’m gonna add 4 crossovers(4ohms) each and 4 tweeters(4ohms) each. What will my ohms be on each set?? I mean each door?

I have a taramps 4x400. I want to hook up 4 100 watt 4 ohm midrange speakers per channel and have 4 4ohm tweeters cross overed from each speaker. I want to give them as much power as possible (100watt each). Can I simply connect each speaker to their own channel and be done? Also my midrange speakers range from 200Hz - 16Khz, does this mean I select the high pass filter (HPF) for both channels? Thanks!

psychic, wow I just got the 1ohm taramps 800x4 in the mail today.. and i was wondering about that 6 terminals instead of 8. I dont know what car I am putting the amp in. I got pioneer ts m650 midbase speakers. on the way along with ds18 pro titanium pro tweeters. Im really hoping to get clearly Loud mid's and high's in my cars.

Taramps 400x4 I have two 4ohm 6.5 coaxials and one 4ohm subwoofer. Am I correct that the coaxials will use up channels 1 and 2, while the subwoofer will take up channels 3 and 4 bridged?

Will this work with 2ohm door speakers? I don’t want to bridge anything. Just run the 4 door speakers to the amp. The 4 door speakers are all 2ohm. The head unit is 2ohms also. Thank you

I have the 2000x4 the 2 ohms model an I have 2 DS18 8s 8 ohms an 2 DS18 10s 8 ohms as well mid-range..I want to bridge them what is the final impedance output all speaker wired separately from the box going to the amplifier. This amp is weird, I have an issue with the sensitivity of the gain level. Seems like it has too much power or the gain is very sensitive !

Doing this , my amp melted so I connected the wires to the Reeses cups and they melted to . Now I have to buy more Reeses cups . Much cheaper than buying new speakers .

I just got this amp and I want to run my chuchero box how do I wire it the chuchero is a box with 2 8” prv mids and 2 3” tweeters inside the box I believe there all ran parallel together inside the box because the wire coming out the box only has a positive and negative speaker wire coming out please let me know I also wanted to run my selenium horn driver also but it not connected to the box ... please let me know if this is possible thank you I’m using a lc2i so I only have one set of rca available because the other rca to the lc2i is connected to my subwoofer amp

I'm pretty sure the center terminal is a dummy terminal where your + and - make contact, thus dropping your 2 8ohm speakers to 4ohms. Anyone?

This dude is fried. Doesn't know what he is talking about. How u take a svc 8ohm speaker and run it to 2ohm channels? Then he says u bridge the 8ohm speaker on bridge mode to a 4 ohm load at the amp? None of what he is saying is even close to being right. This guy is gonna blow everyone's gear that does what he has said. That's why he used Reese's cups. Cuz he blew all his gear before he made the video!!
