Alright guys this is how its working now most of the stuff i been recording has mostly all been my car audio journey occasionally ill throw some game stuff in who knows, Im not a one topic kind of guy because my life is filled with more then a single thing Video Games, movies, music the list goes on but for now expect basic music demos mostly
They all suck their terrible go watch emf audio show tell n teach ya why n half whit could know by just seeing theres little power supply caps n near no input filter caps. Smfh their specs on box blow next to orion hcca tgat mAkes 13800k watts rms at .5 ohm 0.0004 thd over 108 signal to noise 3 each power cable ins at 0gauge thats 6 ttl lmffffao its the 3000.1dsplx hcca by orion 650 bucks. Go watch emf show u how terrible the frequency response is under 50 hz its flipping gross n look what they do to coils with no regulated power supplies give one more volt like lights n heat off youll get near or over 500 mire rms watts smfh its planned obsolescence to all woofer coils n it a coil holds the clipped unregulated highly distorted signal the amp is sure to go up in flames smffh
We get it you dont actually know anything at all about anything related to audio, video or even basic electronics. but copy and pasting other peoples stuff half assed doesnt actually mean you know anything it just shows you can ctrl+c and ctrl+V
Thank you for your explanation of the difference in the MD and Bass series amps. I am in the process of starting my very first car audio build for competition and I have already bought a Smart Bass 5K to start with but I know that I will not be satisfied with it and I will have to move up in power to get even close to what I want to put in my Suburban. I would love to talk with you about this and see if we could work out something as far as some type of sponsorship from Taramps. Let me know if that is something that you would consider or if it’s even possible. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you.
Okay so you do competition do you know of any videos or could you help me out with figuring out how to keep from blowing a 500 amp breaker using the taramp MD 5000. 1 I will be running 2 skar evl 12d4 wired to 1 ohm last time I had 2 sundown audio 12d4 I kept blowing a 300 amp breaker on a taramp hd3000
@@craighowe3602 I’m sorry for the confusion but I don’t compete yet. I’m still building my system. That being said what type and gauge wire are you using to power your amplifiers ? I’m running my Taramps Smart 5K Bass on a single 1/0 solid cooper cable with a 250 amp fuse and I have never had any problems with it blowing the fuse. I have had many systems over the years with anything from a single 10” sub and a 500 watt amplifier all of the way up to some really crazy stuff and if you use good power cables you shouldn’t have any issues with blowing the fuses as long as everything is wired correctly.
I just got a Recoil Dii3300.1D for my latest upgrade. It looks just like the Taramps MD on the inside. It certainly puts out great for an amp that is 9in x 7in x 4in. It's never overheated even when I beat the snot out of it. It easily put out 65v AC without even maxing it out.
I just got one of these new basically for free on Ebay when i bought the big boss 3k and bass knob with clip light combo. They sent me a deal on top of it and i ended up paying $333 for the new big boss 3k in black color, the new version ds 440x4, and the good bass knob with the clip, power and protect light. Cant beat that deal.
On the MD 12000.1 the label says .05 on they don’t have a Bass 12k it’s only a Bass 15k and that’s 1 ohm. I went for the MD12000 because it applied to my application for 1/2 ohm
Will this work with 2ohm door speakers? I don’t want to bridge anything. Just run the 4 door speakers to the amp. The 4 door speakers are all 2ohm. The head unit is 2ohms also. Thank you
With this Amp I didn't set gains with a DMM I set gains by ear. As in I had someone put his face right next to my door speakers and listen to my tweeters as I turned them up and once he began hearing the sound change he yelled for me to stop and I backed off a hair
I have a taramps 4x400. I want to hook up 4 100 watt 4 ohm midrange speakers per channel and have 4 4ohm tweeters cross overed from each speaker. I want to give them as much power as possible (100watt each). Can I simply connect each speaker to their own channel and be done? Also my midrange speakers range from 200Hz - 16Khz, does this mean I select the high pass filter (HPF) for both channels? Thanks!
The reason this question is asked so often is likely because Taramps has so many product lines (HD, MD, BASS, SMART, SMART BASS, etc), but they really don't explain why to choose one over another. I realized this was the reason I was resistant to thier products.
Its funny you say that i watched a few others before and even after making this video and i mean not to really bash on other people but....most of them it was just like "Hey guys look a tiny amp with more that 1 channel thats cool! ok like, comment, subscribe." And thats the whole video. What even tf is that? lol. i got tired of being annoyed by that so i fixed it.
so i have the 2 ohm md5000.1 and run it at 2 ohms but it never sees 2 as box rise etc. can it still be wired to 1 ohm if its seeing 2 or more still most of the time?
