Do you want to give an ex-racing retired Greyhound a home? Do you have stairs? Racing Greyhounds are generally not taught how to use stairs. We're showing here tips and tricks what you can do to set your newly arrived dog up for success so it's a breeze for them to master stairs.

My last two learned in about 1 second! The two I have now I have NOT taught. Ever had two times 27kG on stilts jump on you in bed Eeek! Getting 'Clyde' through the dogflap was another story. Lot of encouragement, food and watching his (wiley) sister do it 🙂

i just hold peanut butter in front of my girl and she followed me upstairs..a lil bit wonky, but one year later she runs up the stairs like nothing. it didnt even came to my mind to use her paws to show her luckily mymethod worrked too, but i think with the next we try yours aswell :) greyt video

our greyhound went up the stairs without us even showing her but there's no way in hell she would ever go down even one step :D

Heyyy thanks for this video! we have been doing this method and also treats and almost two months later our grey is still terrified of the stairs. Sometimes he goes, sometimes he doesn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️ we live in an apartment so have to do this 4/5 times a day and he’s too heavy for me to carry! Any tips?? He knows stairs he’s just scared! Outside stairs he’s fine with but indoor - nope!

Keep on practicing, lay a blanket or towels on the stairs if they are slippy, give a little push on the bottom and let us know if it works!

This is the same as us 😭our new girl is lovely but she won’t do the stairs. We’ve tried treats, cheese, dog salami, we’ve tried positive encouragement. She does the stairs outside but never when she’s inside 😭
