A scan of the car will help guide the failure of the MAP sensor: In case the MAP sensor delivers a voltage lower than 0.5V then it will turn on the FAULT CODE P0107, while if the voltage remains at 5V then the MAP FAULT CODE it will be P0108.
The above codes can also be generated by a wiring fault, either a short to ground, an open circuit, a short to 5V source.
