Sorry to be ‘that guy’ but there are some many inaccuracies in this video; - there was never a gts-t in the r34, it was a GT-T - the GT-T came with all wheel steer, I know because I took it off mine - the MFD will fit in a GT-T, the surrounds for that and the 3 dials found in the GT-T are interchangeable - the only differences on the dash are colours of centre console gearstick and radio surrounds and the speedometer/rev counter - the rear fog light thing is complete rubbish - the GT-T came with zenon headlights, again I know because mine has them - all interior parts are available from Nissan if you have the part number, I have gotten many interior and exterior parts from them Again, sorry to be ‘that guy’
@Adam Powell You are so not "that guy" because your attitude is awesome! Plus even though the video's have innacuracies in them, my goal is always to provide the most useful info and I really appreciate it when people comment with more info, because I learn and the info gets passed along!
@@OctaneMonkey how do you make a video and are so clueless to begin with? You have never tried it but you can exclaim it in the video. Also not all R34 GTR's came with OEM HID.
Octane Monkey thanks dude, I hate to think like I’m being that guy, but I’m all honesty, if you need any info on the differences in the R34 models I’ll be happy to share all the useless info I have in my brain, stupid things like if you put the RB26 in the GT-Four it will be 4wd and if you put it in any other GT variant you have to switch the sump as it incorporates the front wheel driveshafts, and as far as I know, some of the later series 2 GT-Ts had a lot of GTR parts and I believe some had the N1 oil pump fitted
@@FootageFactory back when I got mine the prices weren’t that high. Now they’re just over inflated. $60,000 would be the max I would send. I paid $21,000 for my R33 and $35,000 for the R34, both GTR. What’s funny is people have over hyped them. Don’t get me wrong, they are amazing cars. But the current prices are completely unjustified.
The r34 is like the Patek of the car world. Only ppl in the know will appreciate what it is. Although a mechanical marvel and something with tons of history, only a few ppl wealthy enough would be able to justify spending that much money when they can get something similar for less. You don’t buy the product as much you buy the idea.
Do the 2001 plus r34 have nissan logo on the trunk? it looks like 1999 and 2000 dont have the Nissan ? logo on back ? no one has ever touched on this to my knowledge.
Someone with more knowledge will have to answer this one. I think the logo's may have been different depending on where they were sold. I think cars sold to regions outside of Japan may have been badged differently.
This video was 100% dead one from talking about price and demand vs overall feel of the car. Yo how it drives. The only thing I would have liked to see is you not omit the R33. Ive owned a R34 and currently own a R33. I like my R33 more. I believe only fan boys that have never driven all models down how good it really is.
@James Thomas, where are you located? I have been looking to do a proper review on an r33, and would like to do a track day test between the 32, 33 and 34.
Octane Monkey the car is up for sale but no one has bought it yet. Lots of inquiries and even more people trying to low ball me, future plans is to get a HKS V Cam Pro and maybe change the turbo to a precision 7685 then shoot for over 1000 horsepower, that’s providing I don’t sell it.
@@OctaneMonkey That was my next question, what would a decent price be in your head. I guess I am trying to determine if there is about to be a price jump leading up to the 25 year mark?!
@@FootageFactory I do think the demand for R34's is going to go up, as the USA market opens up, this will increase the prices some. However, I think the prices have already inflated with the anticipation of this and with Covid inflation messing with the markets, my concern would be that we are in a bubble. Deals are still out there, and if you can find one that is undervalued you could probablly enjoy it for awhile and pass it on with a profit. I did it with an R32 -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--JrjKokme8Q.html
What a ugly highly overrated and way overpriced car! Literally every single pimpled face teenager held this car in high regard it makes me sick. Only attracts adolescent boys whereas a real man's car like the Camaro attract chicks and is actually way faster and cheaper smh
CamaroV8 Power a camaro vs a r34 gtr.? Would ya snap the fuck out of it , ya bleedin muppet , no comparrison ones american piece of shit other is godzilla, end of argument , Another fool who knows knothing about performance cars
