I have a Chrysler 3oo 2016 and last Friday when I backed out of work at my job was a horrible grinding sound and then every time I brake hopefully it’s just rotor n pads.

My driver side rotor had a scrapping noise. Then I herd a clank and my breaks doesn't work any more. What happened?

What about mileage I don't have trouble now but at 77300 k miles nevrr changed since 2014

my rotors is SUPER rusty at the ends (vents) , they crumble and pieces of rust fall when i touch them. but they dont have a lip at the edge (wear depth) , and perform well. should i change them? they are at least 6 years old
