Was about to buy the wolf shield. Looks like I'll have to go with a different one. The chances that - just you - received the - only - faulty unit are too small to take the risk.
I'd just like to confirm that the Wolf Shield is not a piece of shite... Like you said it was faulty, hence the alarm is faulty. I bought a wolf shield and it's reassuringly mega loud.
Well - from a customer experience point of view i received one product FOC and it was faulty. Do you think your average consumer is going to go to the lengths I did in testing the product? Or - more realistically would you expect a landlord/home owner to purchase the item and pop it on a wall - assuming their obligation was complete?
@@petegasguy no need to be confrontational about it... I was just saying that you can not be disingenuous to a brand just because the one you received was faulty. Send it back and ask for another, then give a non biased review.
@@djpickmix6670 not at all… was asked by manufacturers to test in a specific way and I did. When they didn’t like the results they asked me to remove my reasonable review ‘or else…’ With that in mind - i thought i’d share the findings on here. Also worth noting that I know another chap who was given a free sample and it did the same thing… the argument is QC there is poor, in my opinion. Would you risk your health or the health of your family with one of these devices? Hey - these public forums are great aren’t they… full of opinion etc. let’s pretend someone sees this video and thinks ‘i’ll test my alarm’ and they too have a faulty unit, that’s a positive, right?
