How to test epson printhead using multimeter
Ignore my dirty hands and nails due to ink spills
L110 L120 L210 L220 L360 L3110 etc with the same printhead
Testing using diode mode inverted polarity
Red probe on pin 22 and black probe on pin 1.

Firstly, congratulations on the channel, and may God bless you! So I was confused, did you say pin 22? This pin refers to the print head of which printer? I ask because I recently removed one from the L120 and noticed that it has 21 pins!

İ have epson wf 2530 . My headprint value pin 1 is 0 pin 2 is 678 and pin 3 is 583. It can be normal for my device ?

It seems that gilded plate has to be glued not with two or three dots of glue, but with lines of glue to prevent ink leakage from channel to channel.

Other printhead has 20 pins only, like T13 or L120. Rule of thumb probably is both ends should have no readings.

Hello and God bless you for what you are sharing. I have a DTF machine uses the I 3200 printheads I have red light on board and have replaced flat head cables carriage board and main board and swapped heads. Can i test the printheads like you did to see if they are good. Or is there something else that you know of that could cause red light on Honsoft v. 143 board. I subscribed thanks for any help. 100 US dollars if you can help me and I will gladly pay it.

Hindi naman yung board sumisira sa printhead no sir? Yung mismong printhead pwede maka damage ng board? Nagka error code kasi ako printer error 31006 nung test ko yung printhead shorted na pero ang sabi daw yung errror 31006 sa mismong fuse daw sana matulungan nyo ako sir thanks

it could be, rule of thumb, if the printer dies then you know the head is dead lol

First of all, the power was lost while my printer was running, during the checks I made, I found that the parts of A2222, C6144 and E09A7418A were broken and I replaced them. however, when I power up and try again, a few seconds after the screen lights up and the motors kick in, the motors stop, and then my power supply goes into short-circuit mode to protect itself. What could be the source of the problem? I will be glad if you can help.

That is because the cause is the printhead. You need to replace transistor and power ic and printhead for that

@@wayneslink In the measurements I made as in your video; Stand #1: no value, stand #2:0.625v, stand #3:0.555v. What values should I see for the other feet and how can I tell for sure that the printhead is bad?

Merhaba Serdar Bey; Ben de aynı dertten muzdaribim. Kafa temizleme girişimi pahalıya mal oldu. Temizlik sonrası yazıcı 5-10 saniye çalıştı ve durdu. Bir daha çalışmadı. Benzer çok sayıda sorun gördüm internette. Transistör değişim, gerekirse entegre değişimi yapacağım bende ancak kafa sağlam mı? değiştirmek zorunda kalıt mıyım? vs vs... Siz neler öğrendiniz bu süreçte?

@@bulentborasuyabatmaz Merhaba Bülent bey, yaptığım işlemleri siralarsam eğer; -Yukiradaki bahsettiğim güç taransistorleri kısa devre olduğu için değiştirdim. -Yukarida bahsettiğim entegreyi kontrol ettiğimde sorun olmadığını tespit ettim. -Anakart üzerinde F1 olarak adlandırılan sigorta direnclerini kontrol ettiğimde sorun yoktu -Son olarak yazıcı kafasını Hint videolarında tarif edildiği gibi direnç kademesinde ölçüm yaptım onda da problem yoktu fakat yazıcı kafası bir ay kadar süre dışarıda kaldığı için gözenekler tıkanmış açmayı başaramadım. Sonuç olarak yazicim normal olarak çalıştı ama sanırım yeni bir kafa almak zorunda kalacağım galiba. Bunların yanında yaptığım araştırmalarda kafa temizligi yapıldıktan hemen sonra yazının kullanılması transistör, entegre, sigorta ve yazıcı kafası dahil hepsini bozuyormus. Hatta kafaya bağlı olan Flex kablonun bağlantı noktalarına veya iç kısımlarına zarar verebiliyor Muş, o yüzden kablonun sağlamlığını da kontrol edin derim. Epson ile ilgili Hintli yayıncıları takip edin, çeşitli arızalarla ilgili bir çok video var.

Kaya pala pumutok yung fuse ng epson L4160 ko. Chineck ko, shorted nga. Umorder po ako sa shopee ng printhead, 1k lang. Update po ako kung okay yung printhead pag nareceive ko na. Anyways very helpful po yung video. Balak ko kasing ibalik yung printhead pagka solder ko ng fuse. Lifesaver po kayo.

Update, so walang short dun sa print head. Pero nung ginamit ko nag error sya 4000 something ang lumabas. Tapos nung inulit ko, nasira yung mosfet ng board at may shorted capacitor. Oorder ako ng bagong mosfet and check ko ulit kung gagana. Dalawang mosfet ang nagshort.
