After watching your video, I concluded I had a failed fuel injector. Before I watched your video, I changed the plugs, coils, valve cover gaskets and still had the same problem although it wasn't as bad. Listening to the exhaust during the injector failure was what I was looking for. I would clear the codes, and 20 seconds after starting the car it would fail again, the engine would vibrate and a slight popping through the exhaust. The code scanner told me # 6 cylinder failure, or vacuum leak at #6. The new Injector worked perfectly. Thank you!
I'm getting a misfire in cylinder 4. This check light came in when I ran low on gas. I've changed plugs , coil and valve cover gasket. Still misfiring. What should I do next ?
Good fan of your videos, I have an 2008 Mazda 6 i model. 2 3L. My car always misfires when hot. I start it cold and runs fine. Change spark plug and coil. After car is shut off I will turn it back on misfire on 3. Misfire will go away after it cools engine.
my car is misfiring cylinder 1 so i try switching coils and spark plugs to see if that was the problem even change the map sensor and is not making any difference still misfire , i test injectors and it does same results as your video but when i drain the oil smell a lot like gasoline so maybe this test show on and off but doesnt show if injector is adding too much fuel and make misfire 🤔correct
I have something going on. Car barely starts, and once it starts, it runs extremely rough. 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. Had an issue with it stumbling. Changed fuel injectors, map sensor, injector seals, intake manifold gasket, throttle body, and new plugs. No check engine light. Runs better with MAF not plugged in. But runs rough at low idle and stalls frequently. Not sure with the issue is.
I have a 2009 cx7 grand touring with a turbo and idles, rough start, white smoke, check engine light with code p00300 error code, fuel smell in cabin... I have replaced and moved the coils and spark plugs and I think is either MAF or Fuel injector(s). I’m going to try to add additives to fuel then clean maf. If doesn’t work was going to replace maf and last thing pay mechanic to go into to look and replace fuel injector.
@@portillo6040 ended up being the wire harness for the fuel rail that was faulty. Went to the junkyard and found one on a cx-7. Same harness. Now it runs perfectly.
@@HoUsEoFcAtS78 were you getting a p0300 code cause I just got the engine replaced it's at 115k and today I'm gonna be cleaning the maf as well as adding additive to the fuel system and have edgeauto spark plugs otw but was replacing that harness fix your p0300 and how much did the junk yard run you?
