Overall good vid, but I would contend that the ice encased thermostat will never reach 22 degrees as the ice is insulating it from the zero degree air normally found in the airflow of your freezer's evaporator.
Well what does it mean when testing the thermostat with my meter and it beeps (continuity) when sitting at room temp AND sitting here in a little block of ice? I'd say that it is stuck, no?
I just my thermostat in cup of solid ice. I got 52.5. I’m guessing it’s bad. At 32 degrees F. Should read approximately 16.3k ohms.I’m guessing it’s bad? Please help
