Is there a way to know which level the collar has learned to use as the baseline level?

Thank you for your question, Thomas! There is no way to determine what level the collar has settled on as a baseline after learning your dog's barking habits. Please keep in mind that this level may be ever changing since the bark collar will increase and decrease depending on how consistently your dog barks or remains quiet.

When the green color shows up and then turns off, do I put it on the dog's neck or do I have to press it again for the green to flash before I put it on the neck?

Thank you for asking about this! It is crucial to mention that this video is about test mode, not simply powering the collar on. If what you are wanting is to power the collar on, that process is a bit different. When you first remove the collar from the charger, it should be totally dark. You can then press the button on the collar, and the green light will show. Release the button on the collar, and it should begin flashing green every 4-5 seconds. You can then put it on your dog's neck.

My parents picked one up today and I’ve been working with it. Ours is battery powered and did not come with a charging cable. Can you explain how to test it without the charging cable.

I bought petsafe bark collar two days ago, We did try that on my husky 1 year old of 30kg but it did not work while we test the device seemed it work. Do you know why it happened like that? fully charge. We cleaned of the hairs surrounding of the device and make sure it contacted to the skin but Completely no affection to my dog

Thank you for asking about this! We're sorry to hear your husky has not yet responded to this collar, but we can certainly provide information for you! If your collar works when tested but your dog is not responding, this does let us know they are either not feeling the correction or they are feeling it and disregarding the sensation. It is important to mention that these collars activate for barking, not for howling, yodeling, husky 'talking', whining, or other sounds that are not barking. We do apologize for any misunderstanding. If your husky is barking and the collar is still not responding, adjust the fit of the collar so that you can fit only one finger underneath, and the box on the collar rests as high on their neck as possible, centered directly under their chin. If they still do not respond and their fur has been trimmed to ensure both prongs touch bare skin, please reach out to us so we can determine why they may not be responding and what might help. If I speak very loud around my dog, will this shock him? Or is it only triggered by his barking?

This is a great question! Your dog will never be corrected because of another dog’s bark, loud voices, or a loud outside noise because the dual detection technology in this collar must sense both vibration and sound before correcting.

Mine only worked for a few months. Now I have to press the on button 5 or 6 times before green light flashes and then mostly stops after a few minutes. So disappointed in this expensive collar.

Does not work. Put it through the blue light test mode fine. Even put it on myself and does nothing. Waste of money.

These collars don't work, I bought two, they only stay activated for a few minutes and then they deactivate. Every time you want to use it. You have to activate it, it shouldn't work that way.
