How to Thread a Singer Genie Sewing Machine  

Thank you so, so much for this video. I have a similar machine, and I always had trouble with thread tension which didn't seem to be adjustable. Now thanks to your video, I realized I've always threaded it the wrong way - I never saw that little hook on the front of that spool...

Very helpful as I hadn't used my machine (Genie) like this in many years. Was able to repair hole in trouser pocket.

I had problems pulling the loop getting loop but I though the metal bobbin works for me. think you you have solved it thank you

2:04 when you started to wind the bobbin sounded like your needle was also moving - couldn't see with the camera angle. You need to push button on inside of rightside wheel to disengage needle action while you are filling the bobbin...plastic 66 only. Push again to sew or turn wheel as you did.

Okay so I'm pretty sure I threaded my singer correctly , but for some reason it messes up and the foot comes off. U think u can help me out? I remember what my mom taught me but I can't seem to figure out why it's doing what it's doing.

Any idea what bobbin it uses? The machine I got has one that does not look the same as yours

Your metal bobbin is not for that machine. The machine ONLY uses Class 66 bobbins.
