Thank you so, so much for this video. I have a similar machine, and I always had trouble with thread tension which didn't seem to be adjustable. Now thanks to your video, I realized I've always threaded it the wrong way - I never saw that little hook on the front of that spool...
omg THANK YOU. I found a singer starlet in a 'junk shop' and was losing my patience trying to follow the diagram inside the case. So helpful to watch someone do it.
Merci beaucoup j'ai fait exactement comme vous avez fait, et j'ai la même machine exactement la même marque le même modèle mais ,ça ne fonctionne pas à mon avis elle a peut-être un petit problème, je n'arrête pas de les remplir à la main
2:04 when you started to wind the bobbin sounded like your needle was also moving - couldn't see with the camera angle. You need to push button on inside of rightside wheel to disengage needle action while you are filling the bobbin...plastic 66 only. Push again to sew or turn wheel as you did.
Okay so I'm pretty sure I threaded my singer correctly , but for some reason it messes up and the foot comes off. U think u can help me out? I remember what my mom taught me but I can't seem to figure out why it's doing what it's doing.
Can you clarify the foot comes off comment. Is the thread coming out from under the foot or is it breaking? I’ve had issues with the metal bobbins where the thread catches on it. If you are using a metal one, try switching to a plastic bobbin.
