In my Frisbee group. I wasn't the first person to do hammer throws. But i was the first to do them strategically. Most people would use hammer throws for throw offs, while I would use them for shorter passes (if a big guy is in front of me). I now see most people doing it, which is cool :)
try releasing the disc in the opposite way. The disc tends to fly in the angle that you release it. You could also be using too much arm. The most important thing is to flick with your wrist.
When you throw the disk, it gets a certain angle and that angle will determine how much and on which side the disk will turn (you said it goes left) so try correcting the angle at the wrist part of the throw by rotating your own wrist to the right when you throw your disk
Useless video. Does anyone have a video on how to actually curve a frisbee or disc golf disc and make it curve and why it goes from one side to another?
