I couldn’t ask for a better video, I love Aaron Rodgers, people throw him under the bus too much. I could watch his highlights for hours, a pure legend.
The day competitiveness dies is when people start to trivialize the whole point of winning. Aaron Rodgers is one of my favorite players ever, but he's not even top 5 in a legit QB list. You can argue Aaron Rodgers is a top 5 talent ever, maybe even top 3 (Vick is definitely the most talented), but when it comes to competitiveness, drive, desire, leadership, carefulness, logical outcomes of a certain situation in a game, down and distance, when your team needs to count and rely on you the most, and many more things, it's clear he isn't at the very top, let alone at the top. Aaron Rodgers' teams have also always had a majority spending favoring their offense. The defense argument makes no sense if you're paying only 40% of your salary cap towards it. That's like expecting to get a superstar player for less than 5% of your salary cap when average quarterbacks like Trevor Lawrence are receiving 20% and over. For this to actually work, you'd need to have ridiculous numbers in situations where your team relies on you the most. Mahomes is actually quite a perfect example of this in modern times. Aaron Rodgers in 22 playoff games only has 2 GAME-WINNING DRIVES (against the Cowboys if you will). Mahomes, not even playing half of Aaron Rodgers' career, has 6 game-winning drives in the playoffs, and only second to Brady in touchdown drives led per game and points per game in the playoffs. This is just a small list of things I will state. I have plenty of more ammo.
I prefer the guy who, when his college highlights are spliced together with those of Caleb Williams', the other guy's come out better ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5JO1PsupF_U.html. As my name here suggests, people Refuse To Acknowledge reality when it contradicts their assumptions. It's something lacking in all analysis videos. Rodgers' tendency to avoid throwing over the middle only shows up compared to QBs who do it more. Caleb Williams' tendency to _drastically_ under-throw his receivers doesn't look problematic until you see another QB, especially one rated *far below him* do it far, far less. & even his Pretty Spirals look less impressive when compared against someone else throwing Perfect Missiles that hit his receivers in the hands Every Single Time giving defense no time to adjust to his passes or make plays on them. _Without_ that footage everyone dismisses that QB as a bust.
See some people don't understand how important a QB defense is. I was watching some matches of Jared Goff when he was in Rams. Shit shit defense. Everybody blames QBs for everything it seems, when the defense missed most of the time. It's sad because people like Rodgers deserve those rings more than anyone. I mean Brady is good. He has good field intelligence, but Rodgers is untouchable imo.
@@dimes. yeah, honestly I’m new to football, I’ve been another football player for many years (you guys call it soccer, I’m from Europe), but I’m getting acquainted with NFL history. Fascinating game tbh. Details are the game imo. I can see the patterns as to how people perceive the game, for some reason QBs get the most attention, when football is very team forward first. Just like soccer. I feel like this is where non-athletes fail to appreciate and take in the sport as a whole. Imo you have to have an eye to see what we athletes see.
Same, after watching the Tom Brady roast I was like..woah. Tom Brady gets so much love as the goat but even Tom Brady himself has said that A-Rod is more talented than he is.
Curious to see how that Achilles effects that pop foot given its his lead leg. I think it was be more concerning if it was on his rear leg where all the power is generating from.
Rodgers is definitely top 5 all time, but I can't look past Brady and what he has done with comebacks and game winning moments talent aside Brady just has that clutch gene that you can't teach.
Aaahh yes, Aaron Rodgers AKA Aaron Godgers AKA the COVID Toe Eskimo AKA LaStatpadder PaperTyga VII. I might respect the dude if he just came out already, but how can he be the GOAT when he isn’t even comfortable being his true self? Remember guys, he really REALLY likes women. “GOATs come and go but BOATs stay float” -Baker Mayfield, Best of All Time, during Tampa Bays 2025 boat parade celebrating their third franchise Super Bowl victory #CSO
Aaron Rodgers is the best, If you don't count SuperBowls? How incredibly stupid. What are you going to say next, Buster Douglas is the greatest Boxer in History if you don't count Heavyweight titles? Greg Norman is the greatest Golfer of all time if you don't count majors. The Buffalo Bill's are the greatest NFL team in history if you don't count winning SuperBowls. I commend you for stating your thoughts in the first 2 minutes, because you helped me to avoid the mind numbing idiocy of the full video.
A lot more you could’ve added, His ability to read a defense. He is the master at free plays, and catching the defense with 12 men on the field. The ability he has to maneuver in the pocket and buy time while his receivers eventually get open. Aaron is by far the most complete and most efficient quarterback the game has ever seen. And if anyone jumps in and says “He’s a terrible leader” you have been brainwashed by the media for years into thinking that. He’s my goat for sure.
At every single level besides the NFL, a player is always judged based on their talent first. Somehow when a QB joins the NFL it’s all about rings. Rodgers is easily the best QB of all time.
I had to make this video after I got into a few heated debates about it. Some may say this is glazing, but it’s also facts. Non football players & non QBs favor Tom Brady, but most QBs I’ve asked have said Aaron Rodgers is their GOAT 🤷♂️
Im a tom Brady fan, and I he is the goat. Overall he did what nobody could do. But theirs a reason mahomes, allen, Zac Wilson and so many more qbs said Rodgers is their idol
im a qb. but tom brady is the goat. its because of his mentality and leadership. By far, aaron rodgers is the goat of throwing the ball. But overall as a qb. tom brady outshines because mentality is more important. thats how he wins more
Now if aaron rodgers had tom brady’s leadership and mentality… it would be over. 21 years itl. He would have 10-15 rings. That would be a nasty combo to have. There would be no debate
I like Marino a lot. His release is also super quick. People just don’t talk about him because he never won a Super Bowl. But it wasn’t his fault. Marino won 2 MvPS, first qb to throw for 5,000 yards in 1984, and a lot more. Marino is my favorite qb. I never saw him live because I’m a young guy but he is one of my favorite qbs ever
You missed one word. Not in. Mahomes, Brady, Montana, Manning, Elway, Marino will always come ahead of him unless he wins 2-3 SB in the next 3 years but we are not talking Brady here we are talking about a guy who has faltered for almost every playoff for close to 20 years.
I hate how greatest means rings is the only reason. You could have Kirk cousins with 10 rings and people will say nobody is better. This ring thing needs to stop
Kirk cousins right now has hall of fame stats if he wins one ring or makes it to a Super Bowl hall of famer for sure just like Matthew Stafford u play to win not stats that includes rings dummy
TBH, as much as I like Brady, I can see your point. It also kinda makes me laugh looking at all the casuals make “best QBs in the leagues today” and not even include Rodgers because of his Jets run. Just laughable. Good video, enjoyed it :)
Rodgers and mahomes are honestly neck and neck with each other with overall skill. Like when I think of skilled quarterbacks those two instantly come to mind.
@@dimes. idk I respect both a lot. Most of the time these subjects are always opinion based. Growing up I always said peyton manning was the goat but obviously after Tom joined my team it changed a bit
Nah he has done enough in his short career to prove himself against Aaron Rodgers. Like what more would Mahomes have to do to prove he is as skilled, if not more skilled?
Plenty of evidence the TD to int ratio. He is so good at that that he cannot win a playoff game because he focuses on his personal stats instead of focusing on winning the game. Rodgers is bogged down by again having a high passer rating that does not translate into wins percentage which is almost 10% higher for Brady and Rodgers is below a lot of other QB in that category. One side of the story that you have omitted is the benefit of having a future HOF like Davante Adams to win regular season MVP. Brady did not have a focus on his personal stats or his salary that is why he managed to win way more and win a heap of SB in the process. If you ask me if Rodgers had the talent to become the GOAT? Yes but just like Peyton Manning before him he underachieved and could not compete with Joe Montana. Where Brady has close to double the previous mark of Montana. Sorry my friend being the best thrower of the football does not make you the GOAT Brady has showed to us that it takes more a lot more.
@@INoticeTooMuch1 I didn’t mention it like I did not mention that Football is a team sport and therefore you have to be strong in all phases of the game to win (offence, defence and special teams). I also did not mention that Brady did not have an elite receiver except for the 2 years where he had Moss while he was in NE. He had more often than not a defence that was top 10 but I also did not mention that he never had pro bowl talent drafted on offence besides Gronk and that most of the drafting capital went for defence. There are a ton of things that I did not mention but if you are really a fan of football and not a troll you do not need me to spell out that NE plays complementary football and they aim to be strong in all phases of the game and that this is how they managed to win a lot of games. If you really are a fan of football and not a troll you get the gist of my argument or you research it and know that this is how a football team win games. You can always argue that win is not a QB stat yet the great ones are always at the top of the leaderboard so I guess being a great QB might have something to do with winning after all.
Aaron Rodgers is 16th on completion percentage at 65.3, so he’s not the even in the top ten there, lol. He’s not the GOAT because championships matter more, and your probably just in love with him because he became a doctor by watching you tube videos and Joe Rogan podcasts, lol, if you take out his SB run, he’s 8-10 in the playoffs over a 14 year stretch, that’s not top tier level, some of his stats are, but overall, he’s not going to be remembered the way you want him to fanboy, lol
Rodgers stans: "Brady only won those rings because the Patriots built amazing defenses" *Packers spend early draft picks on defenses* Also Rodgers stans: "wHy DoNt ThEy GiVe RoDgErS wEaPoNs" I'm also going to throw out a few other bits of information - in that high scoring Cardinals playoff loss like two plays prior to the game ending play Rodgers missed a wide open Jordy Nelson for what probably would have been a game ending setup. Also in a lot of those playoff losses post from 2014 onwards you conveniently ignore that the Packers were putting up sub 20 point performances, and that all of GB's points against Atlanta were garbage time stats. Also ignore that in 2021 the Packers defense got 4 turnovers in the 2nd half against Brady and Rodgers struggled to turn those into any points and also forgot how his legs worked in the 4th quarter. I think Rodgers is an incredibly talented QB but I sort of think he's become overrated as time has gone on because people hyper fixate on his TD/INT ratio, and I feel like the goal posts to justify his greatness keep shifting as more QBs pass him up in areas. Brady has him beat in basically every statistical category that isnt TD/INT ratio and rating (and Brady isn't exactly far behind in either of those areas anyway), Peyton has more MVPs, Rodgers doesn't even have the best playoff passer rating in the history of the Packers, Mahomes has already eclipsed him in some areas and is on pace to obliterate Rodgers statistically. Rodgers has had bad luck but so has every other QB in the league who isn't named Tom Brady, and Rodgers himself has kind of sold in the later half of his career too. Absolutely one of the greats who deserves to be in the hall of fame immediately, but I wouldn't put him above the likes of Montana, Brady, Peyton, or even Mahomes at this point.
It was actually Greg Jennings he missed in arizona. Not Jordy. Against Atlanta Mason missed a field goal on the first drive. and the fullback Ripkowski fumbled at the 5 yard line after a nice drive. Probably should of been 17-10 at half. Instead Atlanta marched after the fumble and made it 24-0. And even mahomes didn't just light it up this last post season. He had plenty of sub 20 point efforts too. They played good team ball and won. From 2011-2016 aaron doesn't deserve the bulk of the blame. But the 20-21 season he specifically did not make enough plays. I put alot of blame on him for those particular games
Problem is that Aaron Rodgers as far as I’ve heard is absent as a leader. Tom Brady along with Belichick was - you’re right - probably not the greatest ARM TALENT of all time (and it’s not even as close as one would assume of the “GOAT”), but he was cumulatively great because of his insane focus and effort regarding his preparation for himself and the entire offense. Quarterback is half athletic and half intellectual, meaning that a big part of winning as a quarterback is schematic preparation before the first snap. Rodgers prepares hard to understand scheme himself, but Brady was a systematic field general for the entire team, professing details to receivers, backs and o-linemen with an obsession. He was like a second coach to the Patriots.
There's more to being the greatest of all time than just arm talent. Your attitude is what is unfortunately prevalent in the draft and why people actually believe the nfl combine is important (it isn't).What makes a GOAT? It's what's going on above the neck, sacrifice, and work ethic. They elevate their teammates to the next level. Danny Amendola, Julian Edelman, and Chris Hogan were hardly Jerry Rice, but Brady made them look that way. GOATs, no matter the sport, have something you can't teach. Aaron Rodgers is one of the great quarterbacks, but he isn't the GOAT.
I'm a huge Packers and table tennis fan and seeing this video I never realized how similar the 2 sports are, specially the wrist flick and waist rotation when throwing a football or doing a topspin. Amazing
This is always how i look at goat comparison.. pick 1 qb in their prime to get you toudy in less than 2 min. Its rodg/mahones, or ur a fool. The ability to evade defenders, throw on run accuracy, arm strength.. 12 is my guy! "That's my qb." 👓😥
Hilarious video I didn’t even watch it I just wanted to comment on how absurd and fucking hilarious the title is(one superbowl lol) the goat really 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂 aron too old rodgers the goat! One ring 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂😂🤣😂😂
it's simple really.. put rodgers on your goat's team and put your goat on the packers... I guarantee you the team with rodgers gets better and i can bet you the packers get worse (maybe****** stay the same). this man is DIFFERENT than anything we have ever seen or currently seeing. Yes that includes ketchup boy in kansas city.
I swear man, what could have been. Ive been a packers fan for 23 years and I have seen so much heartbreak with our team in the playoffs. What could have been...
lol the tired defense argument again, how original. Regular season defense means jack in post season. No SB winners has bad defenses in post season making this argument pointless. Furthermore, Brady offense outranked his team's defense in like 19 of his 23 season too.
Dam strait. Anyone who's watched every game of his career, like real fans, would know this year's and years and years ago. There's no one like him. Not Mahomes. No one. He's simply the greatest I've ever seen
Hey dk if you remember but I dmed u n u said this was gonna be a banger it is thanks for the tip I’ll try my best to get the throwing motion down but it looks like it takes time to get the Arron Rodger’s throwing motion down but thanks for the vid🔥
I wouldn't say 12 is the GOAT, but easily he is the BOAT. Great video, even though it brought back some major PTSD, lol. 2014, 2012, 2020 and especially 2021, just brutal. I can't even...
Love the Rodgers throwing motion breakdown. Maybe a lot to ask but could you do a throwing motion breakdown for Stafford? I've always loved watching him throw. Maybe you're a Packers fan but even Rodgers has complimented Stafford's throwing and I'd love to learn more!
Thank as far as throwing the ball Aaron Rodgers’s is the best at doing that ..that don’t compare pat to Tom Brady when comes to actually throwing n the way he’s playing football bc Tom Brady was the best at managing the game Executed game plans, but when it comes to, who is the best quarterback, the best accuracy, the best arm talent it’s Aaron without a doubt … I always say Tom Brady is the best football player. Aaron Rodgers is the best quarterback.
AARON RODGERS LOST 4 OUT 5 NFC CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS. HE GOT A SUPERBOWL AND THEN LOST THE NEXT 4 CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS. A GREAT PASSER THAT COULD NEVER GET IT DONE AGAIN. THAT IS HIS LEGACY.
There’s a difference between most talented and best player. There have been a lot of players with great stats and talent that didn’t win championships.
I think this comes down to what people define as "goat". Mahomes is already receiving compliments calling him the new "goat" because he has 3 rings. If mahomes didnt had only one 1 ring nobody would be considering him. "Goat" is just used as "most accomplished" now which I believe is unfortunate. I'm a Packers fan so I might be a little bias but I completely agree that he's the best mechanical qb ever.
You know, this was going well until you said that Aaron Rodgers hated Jordan love. This has never been true. Having been in Jordan’s situation in the past when he was drafted to replace Brett Favre, instead of making no things difficult, he actually helped Jordan Love as confirmed by both himself, Jordan love, and the staff. Get your facts straight
