As a math guy, I just got to point out that the "mirror" idea isn't right. Think about what it really would look like if you had a big mirror in the center of the circle. Everything would be backwords. 🤣 ...But I'm sure no one will notice and the term still conveys the right idea. Thanks for your videos, I love them! Especially these progression videos.
Absolutely! This is the exact procedure I used to teach high school and junior high throwers every day of the week. Then they would use this in meats as well.
@@EliteThrowsCoaching oh nice great to hear thank you! I wish I would’ve seen your videos back in 2012. I was a thrower myself, but I didn’t have very good coaches in my time. I’m from northwestern Montana. I eventually went on to throw the shotput in college and broke my highschool shotput record. Anyways just wanted to say that I used to coach at my highschool in 2013 and was very successful with your videos. I had a very detailed practice Regime I used from your coaching videos. I coached a girl that has never thrown before, she was a very tall skilled basketball player.. and she ended up placing at state and breaking our schools discus record. Also had a handful of other kids place at districts and basically every meet with your coaching techniques. My nephews are starting their first years of track. One is in 6th grade and one is getting a late start in 11th grade.. I feel crunched for time trying to go back and re teach a lot of this information that I used to 10 years ago from you lolol I still don’t know how I managed it.. but I was just curious on what to do with first time throwers. I couldn’t exactly remember. I will definitely use these step-by-step videos! I’m sure I’ll start to remember and recreate it once again! Thanks again! Love your channel. I’m a long time viewer!
