can you go a bit higher than 90 degree if you are shorter? Where should you pull your hand back to? To your ear or nose or chin or what?

Remember me, the 77 year old beginner, now lefty because of a shoulder injury. This was a good video for me because my eyesight is called Antimetropia, which is myopia in one eye and hyperopia in the other. My left eye is the one that can see the board better. Cool.

How to check which eye is your dominant eye. 1 with both eyes open find a target make a triangle with your thumbs and pointers with target in the center 2 close one eye if you can still see target the eye that is open is your dominant eye. 3 try other eye cause it is possible to have 2 dominant eyes but it is rare. Just because your right hand is dominant doesn’t mean the same for your eyes I am right hand dominant but left eye dominant

I’m so used to my setup on throwing darts, I usually hit my target 7/10 times, so I guess 70% accuracy. These tips are good, BUT… you will lose your accuracy for quite a while until you master this new setup. It will make you worse for a while, then once you master it, you will probably go to 90% accuracy. I’m gonna stick to my 70% because most of the players I play against are bar players and I can usually beat most. If I have to start playing elite players, then I would talk a month off to learn this new way. At least new to me. Either way, if you just started, this would be the way to start. Just like golf, if you have a old swing , it’s tough to switch to a new one, but if your just starting, then you learn the best and correct swing right away. BTW - I did the 90 degree thing, and I can tell you, if your not used to it, it puts a lot of stress on your arms and shoulders, but it also feels like you are getting a great workout on you arm with this method. I guess eventually that stress will go away and will feel normal after a while.

Hi there, I'm new to your channel and the dart counter app, is the online play just audio and trust or do you need a camera setup of some sort. Also looking for advice, I've been playing darts for over 15 years on leagues and at home as I love the game, I am losing my sight due to a disability, I play every day to keep up and learn as I am finding my darts are getting worse as my sight gets worse. I only see out of my right eye which is thankful my dart dominate eye lol. As I said I practice almost every day to figure out what I'm doing wrong and get better like I was, I never have or am a high average player but I do darn well for someone legally blind many are super shocked and impressed at how well I do, I'm shy to try the online play as I don't think my skill is good enough from watching your channel. Sorry for going on but ya might you have any advice/tips? Thanks for your time, cheers from Canada

Thank you, but the main part is missing - the throw, how to create force and release the dart so you dont mess up the part where you manipulate the dart until it leaves your hand :S

A little quick method to check your dominant eye: 1) Hold your arms out in front of you. 2) Make a peace sign with both hands and overlap your fingers so you have a window between them you can look through. 3) Pick an object several feet away and look at it through the hole with both eyes open. Size your fingers so there's as little open space around the object as possible. 4) Close one eye, then the other. Whichever eye still has the object lined up through your fingers is dominant.

I throw my dart different i hold my dart in a 45° angle and i found out that other people are doing that aswell

I really have trouble with my darts. Whenever I throw them they will fall out of the board. ( its a pretty old board ). I need help on that. I don’t throw that soft , but I do have bit unusual throw hard to explain. But my arrows will fall out of the board just like Benito van der pas style.
