At forty I'm learning parkour, funny coz I did all this when I was a kid. Wall runs, wall climbs cept for backflips used to do all this. The happiness I get is priceless. True I'm just starting but already feel younger and happier .

Ronnie I really like how you show progressions. I realize this is not a difficult move but one fun thing I tell my kids is that, "Parkour is like bike tricks, only without the bike." So I am starting them out running on flat ground, maybe loose dirt or pea gravel, and have them lean as deep as they can into a turn. Then take that up on a wall. I am surprised you do not show the flat-ground progression.

Hey, I just started free running and this really helped me out. By the way any tracer that sees this. If you want a unfamiliar enviorment to parkour/free run on try mountains. If there are none, just clear your head and only think about the next step you are going to take and how you take it. Keep up the good work Ronnie

Great tutorial! It really helped me out on doing this, but I always have some trouble putting my left foot on the wall (since my right foot is dominant). I feel like my left foot will slip and I will scrap the wall. If there is any tips on that, I would really appreciate it!

srsly its a good thing he decided to re-do these tutorials. The Assassins Creed Style Parkour version is kinda harder to follow (as he doesn't go into explaining proper foot placement) Keep it up Ronnie. Your actually the reason I decided to get back into parkour since i kinda forgot about it for a while. I'm learning more moves through you and i hope that you can do much more. :D

X2 wild The best shoes for Parkour is the sneakers, I recommend Nike Free Run 5.0 , Adidas Adistar Boost ESM, Feiyue, Puma Ignite and Reebok Nano U-form. They are slightly expensive, but they are worth it.
