Thanks Billy tying rigs for Tope for this year. Struggling with nots from others. Saw this and realised it was you showing. Had to watch a handful of times but first knot tied by me is perfect in 150lb line. Cheers.
@@Billyfishing_watch Its the river Fal Cornwall where they did the D day landings from..Place called turnaware..videos on youtube about the place.Check out my Instagram..moocha123
Sure. But there's no need. The biggest fish you going to catch from the shore in Norway is a halibut! My best is 70kg on 150 lb leader from shore with no probs. Tight lines Brother 😁👌
Is this knot good for lighter lines such as 70 and 80lb lines for tying rigs with? I usually use Uni knots, but more often than not, end up with a pig tail on them when finally tightening them
Thanks m8 im goanna go for sharks and rays and now that u taught me that it will be way easyer for me to tie my rigs and hopefully I caught a big ray or shark
Hi Luppaov. What part of the world are you in, and what you fishing for? Yes I do. If the leader is not thick enough, just change it. Follow the link bud👍
When i watched you loop those circle hooks on, i was going to comment why doesn't someone teach these halibut fisherman about snelling. I carried on watching and blow me down you were snelling. The angle is so.much better when you do that, or you use a loop through the front on a smaller circle hook, the hook up rate increases so much. Good video thanks just cut off the first 6 minutes lol. Thanks from New Zealand
Thanks Joe, the vid is just about what you can do with the Figure of 8 knot ,and yes ,you can senll with it . I know about 3 or 4 way to Snell for wire and mono if you would like me to make vid on that ?. Thanks Brother 👍😊
@@Billyfishing_watch ha ha. I am a really keen fisherman. I work a few days a week selling tackle, tying knots etc. We use circle hooks for deep water fish called Bass and Hapuku ( grouper/ wreckfish) i am always looking to learn and came accross your video. We have long known that for a tuna circle hook to work the best the trace has to come from the back of the hook out to the front of the hook through the eye, and it works even better without a turned down eye. So iften you see tutorials and even succesful anglers tying the hook on, they still catch fish but doing it your way with the snell gives much better hook up rate. So thanks for spreading the word
