Every other YT knot how to: "take the overhand knot and tag line through the backend and out the forward port of the starship enterprise". Jon Know: Take the tag and put it through the loop you just made.... ^This guy is my goto
Good video. Just curious, I noticed you didn’t bring the tag end back up through the loop you created prior to cinching it up at the end. Is that step not necessary? PLMK ASAP. Thanks for your time. Stay safe!!! 😎👍🏼
From rapala themselves (they use to come with a paper pamphlet inside the box of every rapala) they say to pass it through the last loop. So if you see people doing that last step that’s why. I always pass my tag end through that last loop but it’s like everything fishing everyone has their own thoughts and opinions. I just prefer to do exactly as manufacturers recommend. Of course within reason like I don’t use suffix line like rapala also recommends, but with something like proper knot tying I figured there’s a reason
Quick question. Can I use this lure on a mono line for bay (not too far from beachhead) fishing ? Or is this type of lure only suitable for estuary/river fishing ? Thanks. I’m thinking of targeting say travelly, sea bream.
