Great video straight to the point no BS . I ran out of pig floats I used wine bottle rubber cork for bait flot . I use two to three depending how much bait I want to load up on my hook . Tight lines to you
Haha, as I reached 50 I have more medicine bottles than I know what to do with! Great video, appreciate simple rigs for catching my favorite targets. IL river near Peoria only offers channel so looking forward to more Santee fishing.
Yes that is exactly what i told my wife years ago. I would definitely use the pinkish red/white cork for that. We have been going to the ocean to do it for years now but not made the trip yet. Let me know how it works for you!
@@BudBanksOutdoors try a Johnson gold or silver spoon about a half ounce variety of caught red trouts and flounders in the surf and pompano the gold one looks like a little croaker in the silver one looks like a mullet they can't resist it I'm definitely going to try that rig for flounder
One thing I`ve been doing on my mono lines for over 40 yrs, is that I have rod bags made up for all my poles and reels when I`m done it goes into the bag until next time. besides not letting things rub on your line it keeps the ultra vioilet light off of your line and it will last like new up to 10 times longer than if you never covered it. Cause we all know that on a regular set up you have to replace the line at least once a season. but using the rod covers you can get 3yrs or more out of your spooled line. Try it it does work.
I will have to try that. I have never thought of it like that. I been trying to keep my rods in rod locker when not using them to keep the sin off them. I know that sun is hard on everything!!! Thanks for the suggestion.
