My good friend Bob originally designed his Bubba Gump Shrimp as a micro leech. But after using his pattern one day when trout were focused on freshwater shrimp (scuds) it fast became one of his favorite scud patterns. It may not look like a scud to you or me but the fish don't seem to care. Be sure to add a few of these patterns to your stillwater fly box.
