They do a lot of giveaways and charity. They’re Muslim and in Islam, we don’t usually tell people what we do for charity, as it’s meant to be between us and God
I agree with most of what you wrote...except sharing about charity. When someone shares about how much they volunteer with/donate to charities or take videos/pics of themselves doing so, I become immediately suspicious anout their motives. No one should be advertising about how much they contribute to charities. It's self-aggrandizing and pompous. It's like an escape valve for selfish, prideful people. Why does anyone need to been seen/noticed for caring for others? Its something that we should be doing regiarly, without a need for accolades.
