How to tie a twisted mono biting trace which is great for Tope, Bullhuss & conger eels -
In this video I will go through how I make my heavy mono traces up with twists to prevent being bitten through by fish with sharp teeth.
This video is ideal for beginners that want to learn how to make fishing rigs.
I decided to make a video showing the traces I use whilst targeting Tope, Bullhuss & Conger eels.
The idea behind it was that I wanted to have a trace that would last a lot longer then just a regular single hook length of 150lbs - 200lbs of mono and without having the need of using a wire biting trace.
I have now been using this type of trace for a while now and have still yet to have one let me down.
If your looking to target Tope, Huss & Eels this season without the use of wire then why not try this method and give it a go.
If you live outside the UK and are looking for a way to fish for those toothy critters without the use of a wire biting trace then perhaps this could work for you.
