Is it just me, or does this guy do an excellent job of being descriptive and very informative? Thank you so much, sir! As good business entrepreneurs, we should want a Clean, and Safe presentation for our company, drivers, and Freight! Keep up the good work, sir, and everybody else who's traveling on the roads! Watch out for other people! They Are Not Paying Attention!!!! Be Vigilant and Alert when we're on the road in Jesus' Name, Amen!
Thank you for that videos. We strap things down at work all the time but never know what to do with the extra strapping. Usually we have just duct taped it to the tension part of the strap. Thank you so much.
Man I loved that info but whyd you have to kill the entertainment by not finishing the whole car, I enjoyed the video, but why did you have to stop it after just 1 strap, maybe other people don't want to watch, but I sure got bummed, no more tips or tricks? I need this information I'm learning, and I enjoyed this type of content, dam :(
Good question. 3 things. 1. Car in park with e brake on should prevent wheel from spinning. 2. If the wheel does spin the strap will let you know the wheel spun giving you time to pull over and adjust strap in a quick manner to get back on the road. The 3 other straps will keep the car in place. Each strap is rated at 3,333 lbs. The car weighs 3300 lbs. Less time on the side of the road is a safe day.
Thanks for the video; I've been doing this for a few years myself, but always great to see and hear how others do it. On that note, is there any reason why you guys (In the US, I'm in the UK) don't use Over Wheel Straps?
We do use over the wheel straps also. It comes down to preference. Also depends on the trailer that use different type of mounting points. I already had these straps and they are easy to store under my seat.
I swear that all of this was so good until this moment 3:22. I can not unhear the ratchet. It sounds like its unwinding from just that minor hand chop... Am I mistaken? Please correct me lol if I am. Otherwise how was that secure?
