Originally inspired by Tying It All Together's tutorial of the Dragon Egg Pouch (watch here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JgttpdhTmaw.html) but modified to be larger and include a cinch closure. Use as a pouch to carry some items around or leave it open and use it as a drink sleeve/coozie!
I won't necessarily apologize for the length of this tutorial as it often takes me 4hours or more to create a coozie like this, I was just happy to get it under 45minutes post-edit! 😅 So, below you will find chapters to help skip to the desired sections.

1:36 What you will need
3:59 Explaining start point and cord placement

That was highly informative! I love the color scheme. I'd like to see a guitar strap or wine bottle carrier for us more refined outdoors type.

Awesome tutorial ! Thanks alot for sharing 🙏🏽 is it possible to do this with 5 strands so it would fit a tennisball ?

Thanks so much and you’re most welcome! I’m certain you could add a 5th cord, the first knot made will likely get harder to tighten evenly the more you add in but that’s where I find the clip helpful to hold things in place. Or perhaps playing with a different type of flat knot of that one gets too out of control. 😅 It’s probably also possible to make this size work for a tennis ball also if you didn’t add a 5th, just all about how you manipulate and tighten the pouch as you go, so instead of trying to force a flatter bottom for a can maybe try using said tennis ball as a guide for a rounder pouch. That’s what’s fun about creativity and curiosity ❤️

@@zacharybarnes6731 Rick from DragonSpikes, you can find my unboxing of his products in a previous video and more of his work on Facebook. They were gifted to me so I’m honestly not certain how much it costs.

Hello, can I make this smaller for small cylindrical pill vault.
@skudimaging
@skudimaging 8 месяцев назад
Yes, the original tutorial I learned from is done with 3 cords/colors and is much smaller. It may take a bit of trial and error to customize it exactly how you’re wishing but the tutorial is found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JgttpdhTmaw.htmlsi=fuouOhrIosDXsg-3

@@skudimaging will 2 cords work? Saw the tutorial and I think I need smaller than it.
@skudimaging
@skudimaging 8 месяцев назад
@@SlashGears it’s possible but the knot at the bottom to conjoin the cords may need to be a different setup. I think the pouch with 3 cords had around a 1” diameter but depending how tight you knot and how you manipulate the base/when to move into the walls, this can vary.

@@skudimaging Oh I see 1" is the outside diameter of my pill vault. Guess 3 cores will do then. Thank you for your response.

anyone else struggling to get the first knot?? 😂😂😂😂😂
@skudimaging
@skudimaging Год назад
😂 it certainly can be quite tricky, the crown/wall type of knot gets sketchier with every extra cord you add, that’s why I find the clip helpful to tighten it in sections and do multiple rounds of tightening. You can even try tightening it the clockwise direction, pulling each cord, that seems to help get the loops tighter as you’re pulling excess thru.. if that makes sense🥴😂
