@MegaSaginaw faster to avoid the wire getting stuck if u wait till u press it to put wires through you cause spots were cardboard gets in the way and people bash a pipe through it with a hammer which is stupid, regardless if u use a cardboard separator like a giant piece of cardboard to act as a barrier you'll still have spots that pop out in the way, so u feed the wires before pressing, and do it from top to bottom cause it's faster and easier due to gravity, and you bend the end of the wire up against each whole on the press then press it down, but before pressing decide if you want to put the wires through the bottom part and pull out first or just put it through the top and bend the eye ball up, and let the wires rest on the wall then after pressing run it through, but it's better to completely run it through top and bottom before pressing to avoid cardboard getting in the way on either side if it isn't already in the way from previous crushes leading up to the bale, which the bottom half sometimes there is and you'll more often have to clear the obstruction more often than the top cause like I said you feed it before crushing so nothing gets in the way up top, now as far as which side you bend up on each hole to grab on like a hook you can do either but it's better to do the eye ball up, cause it grabs the whole better and, when you pull the wire to tie it it's better to put the sharp end pointing upward through the whole, pull up on sharp end to lose any loose slack, put it through the eyeball, then pull down to tighten then put it through the eye ball again, then twist a few times around the base, but you don't want to get the wires to tight, you need a little slack for expansion or wires might pop
Since y'all cant read my comment on my post here's how you make a bale........ONE BEST WAY BALE MAKING 😂 TJ's best way: THE PRESS SHOULD NOT BE TOUCHING THE CARDBOARD AT ALL WHEN PUTTING THE WIRES THRU...NEVER PUT WIRES THRU AFTER COMPRESSING... YOUR JOB IS TO DO IT BEFORE HAND WHEN THE PRESS IS HIGH AND OPEN....1. Crush cardboard once 2. Let the press come up really high but just at or below the gate thats popped up 3. run the ENTIRE wire... the "sharp end" of the wires through all the wholes, and the wire will be pressing against the wall behind the baler 4. as you run each wire all the way from front to back... at the front of the baler, bend the eyeball end of the wire upward and forward against the metal press on each whole LIKE A FISH HOOK 5. go around to the back of the baler and run all the wires thru the bottom towards the front 6. come back around to the front, close the gate, set to manual down 7. turn key, let the press and wires run past the gate and pressurise, while doing so, pickup all 8 wires and keep a tight pull on the wires as its crushing the wires will keep coming out towards you 8. As the press reach's it's limit even though you have it on manual down go ahead and press the red button to stop, it... 9. open the bale 10. Pull each eyeball forward and begin tying each wire 11. Put the sharp end thru the eyeball upward once, pull up tight, pull down tight, twist around the top base of the wire once, put the sharp end of the wire thru the eye ball again, then twist the rest around the wire going down really fast, but don't waste time tightening the whole wire, just wrap it a few times bend the rest upwards and leave it like left over shoestring, slack in wire is ok, the Bale will expand and tighten the wire, the important part is to put the wire thru the eyeball twice when tying or the wire can slip open when ejecting and cardboard goes everywhere, the rest is history, press the button on the press release lock MAKE SURE THE BUTTON ON THE PRESS IS LOCKED IN OR THE EJECT WILL FAIL, AND YOU'LL HAVE TO USE HEAVY LIFTING EQUIPMENT TO CLOSE THE DOOR AND RESET OR PLACE A MAGNET ON TOP OF THE BALER DOOR MAGNET TO OVERRIDE IT... IF YOU HAVE ONE LYING AROUND.... but once you've locked in the button... put it to manual up, turn key, pull red kno at the same time and drop the bale....don't forget the pallet, my bales have always been under 5 mins by myself once I did a minute flat
If you start with a level bale you don't have to do all that pressing opening and pressing with untied wire. Place flat cardboard all across the top of the bale. Use a bale rod to clear any cardboard pieces that may obstruct the bale wire, which won't be much if you covered it well with flat cardboard. Feed the wire, tie, and eject. Doing it your way is a safety inspection fail.
@@quartd2542 no you read what I typed wrong doing it your way takes longer and is a safety issue you do not have to use anything to poke away any obstructions
@@quartd2542 I didn't say anything about pressing multiple times I said while the press is opened up at the top feed the wires through like a mouth that's open feed the wires through the top bend the eyeballs like a fish hook feed the wires through the bottom towards the front then close the gate and crush it... way faster and safer then using a pipe
@@quartd2542 let me put it to you simply you throw away a little bit of cardboard....then as it's done crushing and it's beginning to come back up to the top like a mouth opening.... Just press the red button and stop it a little bit early so the press will be just below the gate that opens up...when you press the button the press will stop the gate will open up and it will rest slightly above the press level then you simply feed the wires through all the holes bend the eyeballs up in the front like a fish hook go around the back side feed the wires through the bottom towards the front come back around close the gate reset the red knob turn the key the fish hooks will slide down across the gate no poking necessary your way takes longer
