Great information and tutorial. I'm glad to be a new subscriber. I'll have to stop by your shop and check it out. I'm not a fly fisher or tyer but I have just started tying twitching jigs and I'm looking for to try twitching this upcoming season. Thanks again.

I wonder if you could do a tutorial on the tie off at the end with the tie tool. It moves so fast that it is hard to see what you do even when I slow it down. I do twitching all the time here in LM BC and have decided this year I would like to tie my own jigs. This is the best tutorial I have seen so far. Thanks for a great vid!

Its called a whip finish. Just look up how to finish a jig with a whip finishing tool.

Problem I saw was guys working jigs at the check however 2 out of 3 caught were foul hooked . These coho holding in a pool and not moving much . I seen 3 coho sitting on the bottom of this pool and jigged through them and they weren’t interested . Needless to say I moved on to find some fly water .

Holes with guys snagging are sadly not gonna have biting fish cuz they are all spooked. If you foul hook a fish while twitching, go down a size in jig and the problem will disappear. Unfortunately a lot of folks don’t do that which leads to scenes like that one

I have to say yes, they are deadly if you know how to fish them .I found you snag a lot of fish with them in a river.the hooks are too big and the jigging action tens to snag fish .I am primarily a fly fisherman and think the jigs should be banded in freshwater, i.e., rivers .I feel they are fine in saltwater
