Wanted to send some Cali love and support your way. I’m proud and thankful to see you doing what you do and to be representing my hometown and culture the way you are. Respect! 🙏
Dude I didn't know that way of tie the belt. I was wondering how the Kata competitors use to tie their belt and you just showed a good way to do it. Thanks
awesome video! I'll def be trying this out next time 👊 ps: even though it makes sense, I never realized you could get disqualified for your belt getting untied. since you're an avid competitor I think it'd be pretty cool if you could throw some of these "competing in the wkf" facts every now and then :)
Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed! Yess, you could get disqualified! It’s crazy right! Hahaha anyway yess, I will start posting a new video every week. And when the rules get updated which they do every year, I’ll make a new vlog speaking about them. Thank you for the support by the way!
@@arielkarate1 Thanks to you Ariel, it's a very interesting channel, and it seems I saw you in the Karate A series in Chile, in the past september. Kind regards
I used to do the first Tie, but with a different binding knot, making the belt "snips" hang more straight down. The last Tie makes my OCD go crazy 😅 the cossing on the back ain't beautiful, and could prove to be an irritant if you are being thrown and land on the back. Former Jiu jitsuka 🥋
By 4.5 inch thick Tokaido Grand Master obi is so stiff it just doesn’t drop down. When I tie this way, the ends are pointing up/outwards… not down. Any tips on how to get the belt to relax down? Yes… I know… more training. 😂
India karate palyer JK this is a very good idea! I will post a poll on my Instagram for people to vote!! Hahaha and then I’ll post one! Thank you for the support! OSS
Must’ve learned that first method from a TKD instructor lol. Because that is NOT how karateka tie their obi second way is closer I actually like the extra loop but it’s best to order an obi 10 inches longer just for the extra loop.
