How to Tighten up your suspension on your Ryker Rally

This video is a prime example of someone Not Reading the Owners Manual for their bike 😳 You can plainly see that the shock has a Double Nut/Jam Nut. You are supposed to loosen the outside one first and then turn the other to make your adjustments. After you are done you turn the other nut up against it again. To do this properly you need two wrenches. That Jams the nuts together so they don't turn. By turning both at the same time you are destroying the fine threads on the shock. And you don't jack up the bike to relieve the pressure you jack the body weight up off the rear tire🤣 The Red knob is to adjust the Rebound on the shock. It does Not make it pack more weight and has Nothing to do with the 2up icon on the instrument cluster 👍 What turns on the 2up icon is deploying the rear foot pegs. This also will only allow the bike to operate in Eco and Normal Mode the bike Will Not go into Sport or Rally Mode when riding 2up. And yes my wife and I have owned our Ryker Rallies since spring of 2019 and you would be Absolutely Amazed at what someone can learn if you sit down with a cool drink and Read the Owners Manual front to back 😂🤣👌👍

It didn't look like you loosened the lock nut. They were both turning.

Put the passenger footpegs down and the 2up icon will so.

Mainly the left peg. Push it down and the 2 up lcon will show up

Have you rode 2up? If so What’s the weight of you and your passenger?

Is there any reason you can't just max out the rear shock even if it's past the 2 up mark, just to have a stiffer ride?

Which part are you turning ? The left or right “turn piece” and which direction do I turn if I need to tighten? I’ve tried everything I feel and can’t get the thing to budge.

When you ride two up, is the back like a inch or two from the fender. My shock is already at the 5/8 mark and we also at a combined weight of 450.
