What’s up everybody. In todays video, I will be showing you how to adjust the suspension coil spring on a 2021 Can-Am Ryker. They typically come set at level 1 which has the maximum travel. However, if you are a heavier rider and/or ride with a passenger, you will need to adjust the coil spring to level 5 which is the maximum stiffness with the least amount of travel. Level 5 still allows some travel but feels better to me when driving on the road and even over bumps.
To adjust the coil manually, you will need some sort of coil spring spanned wrench. I actually went with a socket wrench attachment which worked perfect. I put the link below for this part if interested.

They actually make a Special rear shock to install if you are going to be riding 2up. It's designed for the 600 and 900 Ace models. The Rally dosen't require a different shock.

Nice dude, firming it up will make a big difference. I’ll have to check my F-3S and see if it’s adjustable. I just got mine in November of last year. Have only got to ride it 3X so far. Haven’t got my rear seat yet. Mine was slightly used. It had 705 miles on it when I purchased it. The original owner liked it so much he traded it in for a F-3 Limited. He wanted to tour with it and he had a wife as a passenger, so the bigger touring bike made more sense for their use. My Wife likes to ride but only likes to stay on the country roads. She’s not a highway fan. Go figure😉. Love the F-3S, can’t wait for the winter to go away, come on Spring/Summer. We had bikes for the last 35+ years. My last bike was a STD 1340 Valkyrie. What a nice bike. It had solid lifters a TBR Headder exhaust that sounded like a cross between a small block Chevy and a Porsche in heat at WOT!!! It was a sweet machine. Subbing. Enjoy your Ryker.

Are you in Lawrence county? Looks like home I’ve been in FL last 10 years , but still have tons of family there, in EC!!! Also love the hoodie that’s where I work :) we just got the Ryker 600 2022 and this is the best video I’ve seen so far.

I just bought the progressive spanner that goes on the end of a rachet like the one your using. This is the only video i could find of the progressive rachet spanner. Looks like it worked well on your application. I have a 2021 Ducati panigale V4. I'm thinking it should work well for my application as well.

Thanks for explaining this. I have the 22 Ryker and there is knob 1-5 which makes it a easier process.

If you are referring to the red knob. It has nothing to do with weight capacity it is too adjust the rebound of the shock.

Enjoyed your video and subscribed to your channel. You can really see the difference when you placed your weight on the seat. Appreciate show how that tool works to. I was wondering if you gave up comfort for stiffening the spring but you said in the video it felt great on 5. Take care.

Comfort felt about the same for me, but I felt more stable on the bike. Also, thank you so much for subscribing, I greatly appreciate it.

How strong should the front coilovers be adjusted?
@DieselLegiance
@DieselLegiance Год назад
It’s honestly personal preference. I’m a heavier rider so I like my shocks more stiff.

How do you adjust it back if too stiff
@DieselLegiance
@DieselLegiance 2 года назад
Say way just in reverse. Flip the wrench upside down.

Holly 💩 that is A Lot of air in the front tires. The Placard inside the air intake housing gives you the Specs. The front should only be 20psi and the rear is 28psi. Some people think they are car tires but they are not ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Thanks man. The owners manual gets an F- on this. They talk about adjustments but no tool size and no tool in tool kit. Class act Bombardier. Today you suck. ?Parle vue
