This is awesome, thank you guys for paying attention to the comments on the page. To see in action exact steps/ tools to use was most important. This small action sets this company aside from other boxes. Very cool details…
Thank you for posting this fix for loose sheaths. I’ve got a SOG Instinct Mini with a sheath with absolutely NO RETENTION so the knife has sat in a drawer unused for a year. I can’t wait to try this technique. Thanks again!
Thanks man I appreciate the tip got a few kydex with this problem they will be fixed now thanks to your super easy tutorial hopefully your having a great holiday
THANK YOU, been waiting for this type of vid n info. I have always been cursed when it comes to kydex sheaths, no matter how 'good ' the knife is or how great the company is supposed to be, I've never gotten an a good, safe well retaining sheath. Oh oddly except for my Schrade knives. I never had an issue w their kydex. Thanks again Brother
Thanks bro! I was wondering about that looseness on my new warpath knife. Not even gonna lie, I threw it in my go bag hoping I wouldn't have to depend on it someday. I'm gonna fix it asap!!
I was thinking the same thing. The warpath knife is very nice but the sheath needs better quality control. Thanks for the information, now I don't have to sell it on ebay.
Let it loosen NATURALLY as in just take your knife in n out often, it WILL break in just right. Loosening it right away will make it too loose sooner than you think. Just be patient unless it's insanely and unusably tight. Rather than loosening it w heat, make a thumb push.
My stinken neck knife fell out on the ground in front of my my sons friends when I was bringing out juice boxes, talk about embarrassing, every kid was like woow! Bru that is soo cool! I'm like umm, you didn't see that. Sucks cus idk what the heck theyre parents teach them. Jesh now the neighbors are really going to not like they're kids playing w my kid. Now I proably need to go socialize and talk to the parnets just in case shits talked. But least i know my kid knows its not a toy and me being female its my backup safety and more so a utility tool. my son was taught how to throw, sharpen, store, use, and keep him and the knife safe when he was about 5. I am a parent who believes knowledge is power and curiosity is what killed the cat, not my kid ok. Few dif mediphores there but wtv maybe ya got my point here, lol. But ya usen my heat gun w this, I'll just set it to low setting. Hope it works.
