In my country Kenya, the biggest percentage of cars are JDM imports. They have an additional challenge in that they have sun-visors on the windows. How do you go about measuring and cutting the tint for these door windows?

Question: When you do the final pass with the blue max, how come you start from one side and squeegee out to the other side, versus starting in the middle and working out? Many tinters I see start in the middle and work their way out. Or do you do it your way because this is a frameless window?

I'm curious if you've ever heard of filing to trim the edge on frameless windows? One installer I worked with told me about it and I tried it on my personal car. Worked well! I'm no pro tho just learning.

Hi, once again, great work and good work on explaining everything in detail. A few questions, is it not recommended to use the factory straight edge for the bottom part? I noticed, not just you but other people that do tinting put the film lower and then cut along the seal, taking around an inch or less of the bottom part of the film. Is that just so you can get an even cut with the window weatherstrip? Or is it due to the factory edge of the film causing any kind of issues when heat shrinking or installation or due to sometimes imperfections along the edge of the film? Thank you for your time.

I'm doing my 2015 camaro and at the end by the lock when I close my door the film folds up. As if it hasn't adhered to the window. Is that possible? It doesn't happen anywhere else

Ey I wanna tint my windows the one in the back, the 2 small ones on the side and the door ones. I got a tbird from 1986 also wat kind of film do u mainly use ? I don't care bout blocking the heat all I want is to reflect light. Wat model type or watever kind of film would u suggest

i had trouble tiniting a c300 amg 2017 plate. the front window could get the corner need the mirror in any tips ?

I have problem after the install and after I tricked the window to stay upp, when I close the door and the window goes up there will be water bubbels/smal fingers down. Why is that happining for me? I really used the heatgun to dry out all the water under the gasket and use a hard card to push all the water out on the side. Several times. But Then when I close the door the bubbels comes out again. Plz I will be thankfull for your help

💢I got my camaro tinted 6 days ago...i cleaned it off with ammonia free stuff and it still has there like white little spots on the tint and I can’t seem to take it off..anyone know why or what I can use to take it off? Thanks!💢

i have a 50% tinted windshield but the guy who installed it is a few hours away from where i live.I called him and asked him if i can put a tint strip up in the tint of the windshield and said yes but a few other tint shops i asked they said no because tint won't stick to tint.Who to believe. I've also find some black glue at the edges of front windows.What that might be?

What a mess. I hope that's not a customer's car. I put plastic over the inside and outside of the doors to keep them clean and dry during the install. I also cover the dash when installing a visor. It's sad how many people half ass they installs, smh.
