Nice job bro. Did you tape the sweep back so you could bottom-load? That was slick! I'm going to have to try that when I get one of these trucks in the future.

Nice job man! Are you taping the sweep open on the roll ups? Never seen that before. How does that help during install?

Thank you for the compliment! Yes, I do tape the sweep open on roll-up windows, and here's why: Taping the sweep open is a technique I use to make the installation process smoother and ensure a cleaner result. Here’s how it helps: 1. **Prevents Contamination**: By taping the sweep open, I keep it from touching the tint film during installation. This helps prevent dirt, dust, and debris from being dragged onto the film, which can cause bubbles and imperfections. 2. **Easier Application**: With the sweep open, I have better access to the entire window surface. This makes it easier to position and apply the tint film accurately, especially near the bottom edge where the sweep would normally be in contact. 3. **Reduces Risk of Damage**: Taping the sweep open also reduces the risk of scratching or damaging the tint film. It ensures that the film doesn’t get caught or creased as I maneuver it into place. 4. **Cleaner Finish**: Ultimately, this technique helps achieve a cleaner, more professional finish. The tint film adheres smoothly to the glass without interference from the sweep, resulting in a better overall appearance and longer-lasting installation. 5. **Save time** You can save time by removing the door panels. Thanks for your question and for watching the video! If you have any more questions or need further tips, feel free to ask. Happy tinting!

@@arcglasstintingllc thanks for the reply. So this was done after removing the door panel and sweep? Or did the tape function to keep the sweep held open (still in the door)?

Yes. You have apply film on the window fast, because the masking tape can hold it few minutes.
