Yes some don’t understand that synthetic wigs have no red or orange undertones like human hair naturally does and it doesn’t need purple at all just to dull the yellow to an ashy tone. Please always be careful starting with a light mix

Thank goodnesssss i finally found someone with an actual synthetic wig with an actual synthetic dye.... been looking and trying others sudgestions but meh.... now my only problem is my long.. synthetic Ponytail extension and halo extension wer light brown and i dont know which color to use to dye it blonde and i really dnt wanna mess it up so help please..🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 oh also theyre kinda like 6N HELP PLS..🙇🏽♀️🤞
There's nothing you can do to synthetics toske the colour lighter you can change the tone or make it darker ....but it won't bleach out like natural hair
I can imagine that it will tint of u use a strong mix but for me I did such a light mix you can’t tell the difference and by adding a bit of concealer that fixes everything
Rachel, Please, please respond to this! What RIT dye would I use to take an ombre/blond synthetic unit to silver gray. I am an older person who definitely is gray!!!
The purple will turn it actually purple it is not real human hair with red/orange undertones it is simply yellow with no undertones it will take the color you are actually putting on. If you don’t mind purple it’s better than yellow
I saw purple videos so I try it, my hair came out pinky ting I was only adding a small amount then tried more, ahhhh, I still can't get out the yellow-orange color.

I see alot of other ppl using the royal purple instead of the graphite. have you used the royal purple and didn't like it or didn't work as well? I'm only asking bcuz I'm able to find the purple dye and not the graphite 😭
@@lschwab86 you may want to try the ink mixed with alcohol with a squirt bottle that's cold so should not take out your curls just rinse with cold water

I have not used that color yet but I assume it will turn out lilac, if you plan to use it I would suggest using a napkin to see the outcome before you dip your hair. Good luck and enjoy 😊
Great video, but dont make my 2 mistakes. 1. I had the water super hot when i added the dye.. 2. I must have added too much dye, because it turned my yellow 613 wig granny grey. I should of added less dye. I didnt even soak it in there for more than 1 minute. 😂😅 $39 down the drain. Hopefully it will wash out...
Hi friend try dish soap and warm water be careful not to have it too hot and for your next solution try a napkin to see result before submerging or a test strip under the wig. Good luck and hopefully everything will be okay 👍🏽
