Good video, the commentary makes them way better. And I could be wrong on this about the frontal on the stairs, but I think it hits if your above on the stairs, but misses if your below.

No, i use one called herorotation. I only use it to track cds, and not the actual rotation, though. Relying on these addons for your rotation is not optimal

yeah, i conserve it maybe a little too much. I use it to reapply find weakness when needed, or to increase my st burst, or in packs with a lot of casters, i might use it to cancel a cast on me
Nice commentary, it helps a lot. I noticed sometimes you cast Rupture before using CDs to use 4 Black Powders instead of 3 and 1 Rupture inside of the CDs. Is that a better thing to do? Sometimes when I Shadowstrike on pull I already have full combo points so I feel like using Rupture before the CDs to use 4 Black powders instead would be better.
It depends on target count and what mobs there are. Sometimes powdering while maintaining rupture 2 targets is more beneficial for the speed of the run
I swapped my stats over recently from Crit Verse to Crit mastery and shifted focus to Assassin/Sub for Raid and M+. I'm still kind of struggling to keep up with where I was with outlaw in m+ though. I had some high 90's and the most I've pulled on sub is in the 80's now. I'm sure I'll get there though. Its probably just a APM issue, that was what held me back on outlaw for so long.
its honestly just a different playstyle - if you're able to perform on 1 spec, once you adjust, im sure you'll have success on other specs. Just give it some time and practice :)
I'm still learning but these videos really help. Only been a rogue for 4 months left my bm hunter main for this expansion. Do you think using hecili dmg rotation is hurting my progression? I tend to catch myself only following the helper when things get hectic in pulls.
i think those kinds of addons do one thing well: teach the fundamentals, but that's all they do. They dont know the context of the situations you're in, or if you have other cds that are more valuable coming up shortly, and so on. Those addons may help you improve initially, but they will also hold you back from being a top level player if you rely solely on them. I'm glad that the videos have been helping out - I try to always include the context for why I do what i do at any given time despite what the addons recommend for me to do, and being able to make those decisions is what will help push you to the next level.
I do not i have a macro for all of them o.o Sometimes ill press both macros at the same time if im already on full cp, but otherwise i pop them 1 gcd apart
Just curious, whenever I run sims it always tells me that crit is better for my human rogue. Is there a reason you stack mastery so much? Is it for more consistent ST damage?
Hey, 1, is it better to go more mastery than crit for sub? 2.Also, if i'd like to play both sub and outlaw, and from what i understand, outlaw prio is crit vers, and sub is crit mastery, would i need to use different gear piece as much as i can spare them for me to be able to efficiently switch bettwen the two specs? or is there a "medium" i can go with the stats for outlaw and sub so i don't have to switch stat prio/gear as much when switching spec?
crit>mast for sub, but the % value will inherently be higher in your mastery section regardless due to how mast scales There's no happy medium unforch. If you want to maximize performance on either spec, you'll need full set pieces for their respective specs

only swapped to sub for raz prog - i dont have enough sparks to have both gear sets on the go yet, and im not going to recraft back and forth, so i'm committed to sub for the time being. ideally ill be able to swap back and forth freely if i can get a few more pieces
