This Video will teach you to Loosen Rear Drum Brakes Remove Rear Drum Remove Driveshaft Remove Rear Axles from Differential Remove 3rd Member from Differential
This procedure is the same for 1990 1991 1992 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 and possibly later Years of T100 Tacoma and 4Runner.
Toyota used this same Rear Differential in just about all 4x4 vehicles. It is a 8.4 size Ring Gear with a 10 Bolt 3rd Member.

Thank you! Had to replace rear brakes, bearings and seals and this video made it super straight forward. Was worried about some extra springs I had left over then your vid showed em being taken off the outside ebrake assembly which I dont have connected (currently trying to source an ebrake cable)

I gotta 95 t100, it’s a manual 4x4 long bed. Is there a way to see what 3rd member would fit it? I know for 95 they had weird ratios compared to 96-97

@donkeybizle It's probably going to be a 3.90 or a 4.10 If it has stock wheels and tires size from factory. Most likely will be 3.90 gear If it had the 31x10.50 factory upgrade will have 4.10. Easy test Mark the bottom of driveshaft with a white Chalk or something. Mark the top of the tire same way. Turn the tire one revolution. 360 degrees as you count how many turns the driveshaft turns. If it's a bit before 4 turns would be 3.90 If a bit after 4 turns will be 4.10 If driveshaft turns 4.5 turns would be 4.56 That would only be if somebody installed a 4.56
