I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade backfires and slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
@Claire miller Don't listen to her, don't give up. Trading takes time(months, even years) to master, even the pros learn everyday. Never the less, if you lose money no matter which side you take, maybe you need to look at how you are managing active trades rather than how you are entering them. My advice, find a mentor . And also, try incorporating the use of oscillators, Bollinger and pivot points into your strategy. And most importantly move to higher TFs(4h or 1D preferably), you'll thank me later .
@@zariamal3760 You're correct, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any legit ones?

What I noticed about spikes are that it's unpredictable, at Least what I think. It's for you to wait till you witness a spike above the 2 level then you are good to go for 6 candles

I would just like to point out, using these "crossover" overbought oversold strategies is a sure way to lose your money, especially with boom and crash, I have seen that many of you Nigerian traders with your RU-vid channels don't tell your audience everything, the scale on Oscillators shift, the moving average hitting the extreme levels is NOT a signal that you should buy or sell, the moving average can remain in those regions for a long time while price keeps on pushing in a particular direction, learn to master supply and demand, trading at the end of the day ALWAYS comes down to supply and demand, this is the market we are dealing with, indicators are meant to be used as entry or exit signals, indicators follow price, not the other way around, don't let people cheat you with these "If it crosses then you sell" "If it it crosses then you buy" BS, yes it may work at times but what you are doing at that point is not trading, its gambling, indicators are there to be used as confirmation tools, not trade execution tools.

Always when you enter a buy in crash,,, put a very tight stop loss... Eg: if you entered at 9562.7000, put a stop loss very slightly below it immediately, you will never lose!!!

Scroll the chart back it will show somewhere. It means where the chart is currently does not reach the extreme oversold to hit the 2 line that's why it didn't show. When it's ready, it will show.

Hi bro, I have a question: while the price remains above level 2, should we continue buying every time it crashes, or should we only place a buy only the first time it crosses? Like it can crash several times while it is above level 2 🤔
Well there are times when it crashes /spikes multiple times above the level 2. I I've managed to keep buying and hold my 1st trade to minimize losses but you need a big account. Risk management is key though but overall good strategy but definitely not a no loss strategy!
