How To Train Your Dragon Hair Tutorial - Astrid's Braids from the First and Second Movie 

I'm a BIG fan of HTTYD and I like how u took the time to study Astrid's real hair style and try and make it as perfect as possible instead of just doing any braid and saying "this looks kind of like her braid, it's good enough"

PLEASE do Astrid's two hairstyles in How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Valka's hairstyles from that and the second movie and Ruffnuts hairstyles from all three movies!

I saw How to Train Your Dragon 2 last night and immediately came home to see if you'd made a tutorial for Astrid's hair yet. I tried it out and it looked lovely, but I've spent all day now trying to figure out Valka's hair! I've sort of figured it out from looking at the one picture I could find, but if you manage to find a really good way to do it (I'm sure you could do better than me) please, please make a tutorial. Thank you!

How about Dreamwork's Anastasia "Anya" Romanov orphan/ peasant hair tutorial? Because I really want to know how her hair seems to triple in length between various hairstyles

ooh awesome! I love trying new braids and i combined the first braid version with the tiny knotted side braid ! since i have bangs and really thick hair it worked out really well! loved this tutorial!

I’ve been looking for Astrid’s braid for a while. Every other tutorial I’ve seen has assumed her braid wasn’t possible and did a different braid. Thank you. If it’s possible could you try Ruffnut’s style, or at least those large knots she has?

I wish I didn't cut my hair shorter with short layers cause now I can't do this. It makes me sad I use to be able to do stuff like this to my hair all the time and now I can't even do a regular French braid past the nape of my neck😢. Other then that the tutorial was great and it was easy for me to follow along!

These styles are gorgeous! But for the second style, as someone with thick, curly hair, I am NOT making any knots. That would turn out really badly for me. 😂

my arms hurt xD tried the first one a couple times now... I can do it once before I start to forget wich one goes where despite starring at the illustration and listening to your instructions I get a little further than one sequence before I say, who cares! and switch to an english braid ^^°

I forgot one thing, I couldn't do the braiding and knotting thing on my hair. On my hair, I prefer doing the braid when my hair is dampened a little.

I'm in 5th grade currently, but in 2nd grade, my mom made an Astrid costume for Halloween, I have that leather headband, and I'm going to be Astrid from HTTYD 3 next Halloween, I already have thick enough hair, so I'll get the exact same effect of the braid in the 3rd movie ... I'm pretty sure Astrid looks different in the third movie because she's missing her headband and her bangs magically grew like, 6 inches in a year... but in the course of 5 years it stays the same exact length.... I love HTTYD but I thought Astrid looked awesome enough in the 2nd movie because that was the first one I watched

You exlain it in a way that people can understand. If I must come with some critic I would say that it would have been nice if you explained for a little longer how to make the first braid, but that's actually all negative I can say about the video.
