This is the best guide to train pigeons to come back home and train them to not be scared of you.
in this video i show you how well my pigeons are trained and how well behaved they are. I had to do a voice over due to the video i took was too noisy because of heavy raining.

the steps mentioned in the video are listed down below
step 1-
keep your pigeons locked for 2 months.
why for 2 months? its because the pigeons get used to the environment and 2 months is more than enough for pigeons to settle at a place and call it home.
it is possible to do it for less than two months if you are treating them very well but do not risk it due to av tried so many times and failed, loosing priceless pigeons .
treat them with so much love and care and feed them well.
step 2-
after the 2 months of keeping the locked, the third month you will still keep them locked but you will keep them hungry for 12 hours.
Do not leave them without water keep the water 24 hours with them.
After 12 hours approach the lost whistling in any rhythm you want but be sure to always follow one rhythm.
As you approach the loft while whistling enter the loft slowly and be calm.
Put the food in your palms and you will notice the pigeons coming to feed from your palms.
feed them from your palms for like 15 minutes then keep an appropriate amount of food for them in their feeder that will keep them satisfied for the next 12 hours.
repeat this process for 1 month while they are still locked in their loft.
Please note that this is not animal cruelty, it is an appropriate method to train your pigeons.
this step is mainly to make the pigeon know you as their owner therefore it will make them comfortable around you.
once you have careful followed this step you will be ready for step 3
step 3
in the forth month open the loft and stay a distance away from the loft.
i repeat again just open the door and leave keeping a distance between you and the loft. put the food and water outside the loft this time.
do not try to remove the pigeons from the loft because if you try to remove them they will run away and not come back.
i did that mistake once and learnt never to do that.
this has to be done very carefully , one mistake and they will not come back again,
follow as i told you and i grantee you they will come back.
once they are out just keep a distance until all of them are back inside then you can go and lock the loft.
not that most of the times the pigeons will not go back in the loft until it starts getting dark that is at sunset. do this for one month so they adapt to the environment and get used to it, on the 5th month you can go ahead and follow the palm feeding method as in step 2 but this time it will be outside the loft. if you have any questions or anything else you wanna know defiantly leave it in the comment section and ill will respond
