How to transfer a deceased on a spiral staircase with Bodypod First Call Stretcher / Mat? 

Another test with the Bodypod Transfer Mat. This time we tested the device on a spiral staircase that are common inside homes.
The descent down the stairs is quiet, easy and respectful. Explaining to the family that using a stretcher in this kind of scenarios is almost impossible will make the family understand and respect (that's our experience at least).
The real benefit is not needing to lift as you would with a mortuary cot and thus reducing the chance for injuries to your muscles and joints.
