It's very simple.. just export all of your contacts in the .vcf format.. send it to your any other phone via bluetooth etc and then simply click on the file.. it will automatically import itself on your new phone 🙏 "Duniya kahan se kahan nikal gai aur tum ab tak contacts transfer karna sikha rahe ho waahhhh 👌🤝"
Just a heads up, this didn't work for me. So I ended up exporting a contact file from the app and downloaded it to Google drive. Just make sure all permissions are enabled from the phone and contacts app, otherwise the contacts won't transfer over when you try downloading them again.
OK I have super OLD phone Samsung Rugby 2012. It CANNOT connect to networks, so here is the SOLUTION, if you are in the same predicament. You can export contacts to the SD, then connect the phone to a computer and copt the .vcf file. Upload the file to google Drive. Then from the NEW phone (Mine S23) Import from Google Drive. Poof, done! I had over 200 phone numbers, I did not want to do the hard way. This video still helped as it shows the exported file is the .VCF, so I new what to look for when exported from the Rugby. I will try again in 10 years when I upgrade again. LOL!
i couldn't get syncing with your Google Account to work, on the old phone "Last synced" time stamp looks ok, both phones logged into Google, but contacts didn't show on the new phone. Backing and restoring the contacts file using VCF file worked ; - ) Does anyone have any ideas what went wrong with Google Account sync?
