Yes it worked, Windows 10 feels like windows 3.11 . Windows 95 would popup a folder with all the contents of the phone...today you have to do this contraption.
i never understood why the sending from my samsung to the laptop was failing everytime, and then i see that you just need to do that click and "receive a file" thing hehe...thanks for that
Thanks for sharing. I was hoping it would be easier than this. I was only able to do one file at a time and it took a while to do the 8 pics I wanted. I ended up reverting back to just opening Gmail, attaching the files, saving it as a draft, then opening Gmail on the other device, finding the draft and downloading them from there. So much quicker for me. It's a shame though that your process wouldn't let me select multiple files. Doesn't seem like it should be too hard to do what we want.??
is tranfering data using bluetooth always that slow. I tried using my pc and android. and it's super slow. don't bother saying distance because the distance between two of my devices are close to each other. I remember back in 2013 when I want to do the same method but I'm using a cheap $100 android phone and school laptop. transfer speed is not that slow. I just want to transfer video with 220mb but took forever I gave up on this test.
Great video but absolutely HORRIBLE user experience. 1. you have to post-approve sent files. Essentially making you approve the transfer three times, once on the mobile, and twice on the computer. Who thought that was smart??? 2. If just ONE file fails in the batch, the entire batch is scrapped...... I have no words.... So you're delegated to send ONE BY ONE file, which is EXCRUCIATINGLY annoying and slow. Is it really so hard to make a Windows client for Bluetooth that actually functions like a normal file transfer program?
Go on settings then go on Bluetooth and on the right side you should see "Send or receive files via Bluetooth" You click on that then it should take you to the thingy where u can send files to and from.
not recommended to transfer video files that are larger the 100Mb took 20 minutes for one file I ended up just pulling the HD out of my PC and connecting it to laptop with and adapter transferred all the files puit the hard drive back into PC connect it all up in less than that I had to transfer 6 gb files lol
