Who has time to connect wires ... just install photosync app in Android, IPhone, Windows Pc, Mac ... transfer videos and photos from any device to any device seemlessly ... even NAS storage , cloud etc .. Have been using since a decade and never failed ..

@@spillthetea-k8c on the same wifi network the photosync computer app or mobile apps recognise each other for the sync .. transfer can be file by file, album or whatever is selected .. its super flexible and reliable

Hey, thanks for this awesome video! Just a heads up, it looks like you might be using a USB 2.0 cable or something. The transfer speed in the video seems a bit off. If your phone is a Galaxy S20 Ultra, it supports USB 3.1 with speeds up to 5Gbps (625MB/s). So, the files you tested in the video should copy in about a second. Maybe check your cable or connection? :) Cheers!

Good observation. When I made the video, I was using a USB type C hub with a Type A to Type C cable. I typically use Type C to Type C cable now. I can test again, but I imagine the speeds would see an improvement.

@@spillthetea-k8c Nice! I have an M2 Mac with a 1TB SSD, so the writing speed should be about the same. (As you may know, the M2 versions have NAND chipset issues, which resulted in slower speeds than the M1, but the larger storage options can be as fast as the M1s.) When I tested with a 600MB file via Smart Switch, I couldn't even see a progress bar because the copy happened immediately. This makes sense since USB 3.2 1x1 is 625MB/s. If you still experience slow speeds, please try different cables. For reference, both Samsung and Apple smartphones typically come with USB 2.0 cables. Cheers!

Yes, you can transfer in both directions using Smart Switch app. I just tested and I can indeed send files to my Galaxy from my Macbook.

It sounds like the smart switch app may be corrupted. You can try uninstalling the app, then trying again to install.

Can't we move the frame to full screen and is there any max limit of file? Like 4gb in android file transfer

Yes you can make the frame full screen. I'm not sure about 4gb file limit. I have transfered more the 4gb in total files, however not just 1 file with 4gb size. I've transfered 10gb worth of files with no problem using this method.

Hi Allan.7519, to be honest you should be able to transfer files from your SD card without using smart switch. You just need SD card reader.

Hi @Mortis750, you need to make sure that the Samsung App has permission. Go to Privacy & Settings, and look for Samsung App and approve all five to this apps to connect.

If Smart Switch is installed, Android File Transfer (hereafter referred to as AFT) may not run. To run AFT normally, please uninstall Smart Switch first.@@spillthetea-k8c will this be a problem? i have android file transfer installed from before
