So I see that I can move over songs from iTunes, but could I do the same for AudioBooks? I see a tab on there that says iBooks, but I don’t know if that only means book, books, or can audiobooks be transferred as well?
Yes, audio books will appear within the iBooks section. Feel free to install iMazing and give it a go, you will be able to see them and test the feature for free.
I'm planning on buying this very soon! Is there anyway to easily transfer entire playlists from your iphone into itunes without having to rebuild the playlist on itunes from scratch? If so, how? I'd like to transfer playlists without having to manually put all the songs in the order I had them again
@@DigiDNANetOfficial Actually, just a few minutes ago, using the free trial version, I just tested out a small playlist with ten songs. On the app, it was showing that one of the songs in the playlist was already in my itunes, which isn't true, and that particular track did not transfer, it instead replaced that track with another one with the same name that was already in my itunes library. When I exported the playlist, the songs did come out in the right order I had them, but there were tons of extra playlists that showed up as well. Basically, every playlist on my iphone that contained any of those songs was added to my itunes, but the playlists were empty save for those particular tracks. And a few of the extra added playlists contained a bunch of the same tracks repeated multiple times. I have a lot of tracks with the artist and song name being "ID - ID", so some of the playlists had those tracks repeated. And also, I noticed the "Date Modified" that was showing up in itunes wasn't the original Date Modified that I downloaded those tracks, it was the current date. Lastly, after the transfer was done, on itunes, it was showing that the same playlist on my iphone that I transferred had reverted to an earlier version of the playlist! Luckily, the phone still had my playlist as it is supposed to be, so I just disconnected it. Now I'm not sure what I should do
@@Ronnie06spartan Hey Ronald, thank you for the detailed feedback. We're aware that exporting playlists to iTunes is far from ideal in cases such as yours. There are issues tied to the modification of existing playlists (not always possible), hence the duplicate playlists. We plan on completely overhauling this feature very soon, and on adding support for export of playlists to .m3u.
Should the "Date Modified" remain the same when exporting songs from my iphone into itunes? I thought the meta data was supposed to transfer over. On iTunes, instead of showing the original dates that I downloaded those tracks under Date Modified, its showing today's date. I'm afraid of my playlists reverting to past versions like it did with that playlist I exported. I don't know why on itunes, on my iphone, its now showing a past version of that playlist, but that same playlist on my actual iphone looks how it should look. On the app, I noticed the songs that it is saying I already have on my itunes are all songs I have labeled as "ID - ID", meaning the artist is labeled as "ID" and the track name is labeled as "ID" (I labeled them as such because I don't know what those songs are called or who the artists are). The app is saying I already have those tracks in my itunes library, and it will not export those songs. Instead, it replaces the track with another "ID - ID" track from my itunes library (different track, but the same name). It's confusing the tracks for other tracks that have the same labeling I used.

Looks like dragging a folder of music over doesn't keep the folder, but extracts the music files; so when we go to play the music we can't play just the music in the folder, because you've just taken music out of the folder and mixed everything together on the phone. Right? (Would prefer the folders to appear along with, and like, playlists.) My issue is that I can't use iTunes to import just PART of my library to the phone without putting it in playlists first. With iTunes, you just import playlists, not individual song, EXCEPT you can import either all or none of your library (but not individual songs from part of your library). Importing the entire library is not an option if it's too big for your phone. My solution: Put the individual songs I want from the library into one massive playlist, OR make lots of different playlists for them, if I want to be more organized or if I want to play songs that go together (such as an album that might not be coded as an album in iTunes). Comments/Observations welcome.
Hi Jonathan, thank you for getting in touch! Have you tried creating a playlist in iMazing and then just importing Music from a folder to this specific playlist? Maybe this would be a better way to achieve what you want and have specific songs in the same place. Hope this helps!
I just acquired an old generation 2 Ipod, 2G. I've never had any Apple software on my computer. In fact this is my first Ipod! But it's worthless if I can't get software to load music to it. Will IMazing transfer music to this old Ipod? The model# is A1199.
Hi there! Unfortunately, iMazing allows imports only for iPods which are running on iOS (iPod Touch). The iPod which you have just purchased is iPod Nano 2nd Generation and iMazing can help you export music from it, but unfortunately can't help with the import. I'm sorry, we're not able to give you a better answer but do let us know if there is anything else that we could try and help with.
While you can export music from your iPod nano to you computer, you won't be able to add songs to a non iOS device (iPod nano or Classic) using iMazing unfortunately.
Question, does it have to be an itunes file, or can it be any mp3 file? I plan on buying this only if I can transfer songs from pc to ipod only if I don't have to pay for itunes songs
Hey Ashton yes, AIFF, Apple Lossless, MP3, and WAV files transfers are supported. Feel free to try it for yourself with a free unregistered download copy of iMazing!
This is much simpler and much easier then iTunes these days iTunes came up with many bugs and issues which arnt allowing my iPod to connect but Imazing solved the problem! I’m even tempted to buy the full plan Tottaly worth it! 💗
Hi Mani! iMazing is a paid app but there's a lot accessible in the free version of it, so you can definitely give it a go: imazing.com/download All features are accessible even in the trial version but with some restrictions. Here's a playlist we have which lists most of iMazings features which are 100% free: ru-vid.com/group/PLeFQ4FXgxXGjokOXEf6JkQvXdPssB9IK6 A license removes all limitations and restrictions, and you can check the different pricing options we have: imazing.com/store

I know this is an old video but I came across this hoping I could still get some use out of my ipod nano (7th gen) to give away to a friend. Tried dragging a folder of songs over in the Music section but it won't go. It also has only "Export to Music" and "Export to Folder" at the bottom in the Music section. It just seems a waste of an ipod all because itunes won't read it anymore but my computer (Mac) still picks it up like a usb drive. Tried just copy/paste cut can't see it in the ipod itself. Oh dear, is there still hope for this old ipod?
Hi Phoebe, thank you for getting in touch. Sadly, for your type of iPod Nano iMazing can only help with exporting the music from it.. You can export your music from it and then import it to another device. Sorry we couldn't give you a better response..
@@DigiDNANetOfficial Awwww...ok then, it's just a shame that they keep updating stuff and the older generations get wasted and obsolete. I guess that's how they make their money... Oh well, thanks anyway.
@@TacticalKeyboardOperator it's all a matter of perspective, the Nano was released 10 years ago and that's along time for a tech gadget like that, and actually it is usable. You can export music from it (using iMazing) and then sync it back with iTunes/Music!

Hi there, Glad to hear that you're happy with our Music Transfer feature. And yes, within the free version of iMazing, all the features are accessible but with a limited number of actions you can take/files you can transfer. In order to enjoy all features without any restrictions you'd have to purchase a license. However there are some features which are completely free without limitations even in the trial version like: Ringtone management, battery health and diagnostics, Quick Transfer of all kinds of files from your PC to your iPhone, etc.
I have an old click wheel ipod with 2600 songs, no Bluetooth. I just bought an touch 7th generation that will only transfer from itunes library, 500 songs. It will not accept songs from my computer files. Will this accomplish the transfers?
@@carmelagonzalezshalaby9236 iMazing should be able to export your songs from the old iPod and import them to your new iPod Touch. But it's better to make sure that the iPod Classic is recognized in iMazing (Try connecting it with the trial version as there’s sometimes connectivity issues with that particular iPod) If your iPod Classis connects without a problem you can purchase a license and follow this guide: imazing.com/guides/how-to-transfer-music-from-iphone-to-iphone

Well so that means that all the songs will be in one big pile as opposed to being organized into playlists. I was thinking of ditching iTunes altogether, using something like Foobar2k or Musicbee on my Windows computer for listening to music and organizing my library, then syncing the playlists I want with my iPhone (using iMazing). As of now, this has only been possible by using iTunes as my main music player and library organizer and syncing the playlists, but the thing is so buggy and slow I wanna pull my hair out every time I use it.
Hello again, Unfortunately, you would not be able to transfer m3u playlists through iMazing. As I suggested you can group the songs you'd like to transfer in separate folders and import the desired folders directly. You could also import your iTunes playlists if you wish. Once you have imported your music you can create new playlists: simply name the playlist and drag and drop songs to it. With iMazing there is no risk of duplicates so you are free to add files from your computer or another iOS device.
hello, I just wanted to add that since iOS 11, there is support to FLAC files It’s for iPhone x iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 www.idownloadblog.com/2017/09/14/iphone-x-hardware-flac-codec/ www.apple.com/iphone-8/specs/ Could you kindly add this information? Thanks
i use MP3TAG. It's easy to use. Adding artwork is tricky. Select the songs you want to add art to. right-click in the art box and choose Add or you can copy the art and paste it in the box. Next click on the area just outside the box and Save (ctrl+S) before doing anything else. Otherwise, you will lose your the art you just added. mp3tag "dot" de "slash" en

It might not be proper to post in this section but i was trying to import songs into my iPhone using Imazing and the process is very time-consuming...is this a common situation or is it just me?
