Hey there, I've got a pretty old iPod that whenever I try to open the photos in the iMazing app, it always says "There is no full resolution photos on your iPod. I can't find any solutions, so I figured I'd ask the professionals.
It seems like this requires the user to be near his phone to put in the code for each back-up. This would ruin overnight backups while sleeping since you would have to get up and punch the code in the phone. Is that correct, or is there a way around it?
Unfortunately this is due to a security measure Apple enforced and against which we are actively campaigning, which is also sadly all we can do about it, as by no means we could circumvent App's security policies. More details are available here: imazing.com/blog/ios-backup-passcode-prompt
What does it mean in the description of your "License Model - Additional device slots can be purchased any time as needed" ?? Is there a discounted rate to add on a second phone, ipad or ipod? or is it the full cost of one device license of $59 (Cdn) ?
Sorry about that, not too sure what you mean, if you are wondering if iMazing is an iOS app, then no, but if your question is about the ability to manage iOS apps, the answer is yes: imazing.com/ios-app-management
IMazing sounds interesting, and I am trying to buy this software to transfer call logs from calling apps. I know you promote WhatsApp, but I am not sure if it works transferring and printing call logs from any other calling Apps like Viber. I appreciate it if there is anything you can tell me
Hello and thank you for your interest in iMazing, and although it does not support text extraction from other apps such as Viber or Telegram it should show the call logs for them in iMazing call history. Just get in touch with our support team anytime for more help: imazing.com/contact
Suppose there are two iPhone 15 backup data ready to be migrated to two new iPhone 16 devices. How many authorizations does that take to get?I don't need the old equipment anymore.
If it’s the same iPhone but different backups then it’s one link for the iPhone 15 but each new iPhone will have a new link so there would be three licenses up in this instance.
I'm considering buying iMazing to supervise and manage family devices but one point remains unclear for me: once devices are supervised are they required to be physically connected to my Mac with the iMazing app to be managed (like uploading new profiles, backing up, file management, etc.) or is it enough to have all devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network? Such details aren't covered in this video or in support articles, so I'd like to know if it's possible to manage all of them over Wi-Fi.
Thank you for your question. Once a device is supervised, it can be managed through the local Wi-Fi network. The only tasks that require a physical connection to the computer are updating or restoring iOS.
CAUTION! Version 3 is a money grab. You only have three links to use which includes accessing old backups for an iPhone 5 or an iPhone 6. Once you have accessed those backups, you can no longer connect any more devices unless you purchase an additional license at $35 each. I did contact technical support and they required me to prove proof of recycling that the device is no longer exist for phones that were recycled in 2016 and 2018. Previous versions did not do this. I no longer recommend this software.
We are honestly sorry our Device based license does not suit you. While it offers an alternative to a subscription (that we propose too) and lets our users to choose how many devices they want to license, and for these doe not limit the number of computers on which they want to run iMazing (Mac or PC) and provides unlimited and free updates, forever.
Hello, Will I be able to transfer all my contact from exporting it on my PC to my new iCloud account ?? My last one got disabled and I want to transfer my text message data from one ICloud account to another. Thank you, giving this a try!
Dude has to make a living somehow. Does it still support automatic backup via wifi? Or do you need to connect the device via a cable? I am also curious if you can change the location of the backups to an external hard drive?
Yes automatic backups via Wi-Fi are supported, with the important caveat that a passcode needs to be entered on the device once it is triggered (as per Apple's policy). And iMazing lets you move backups indeed: imazing.com/guides/manage-your-iphone-or-ipad-backups-with-imazing#move-backup
This still looks like an advertising video, how about a no nonsense this is how you do it type video without music and special effects. Show how to set up a backup routine and how to set different backup locations for different devices. How to restore a back up.
Check again. It’s not a one time purchase. Once you’ve connected three devices, including old backups, you have to purchase a new license for every device you connect.
It is, it's per device but the devices counted are the mobile ones, not the computer. I think this actually makes pretty good sense and is way better than a persistent subscription in any case.
Sorry you don't like it, but the device-based perpetual license model offered by iMazing is an alternative to the subscription model. Other one-time purchase models often prompt developers to withhold features in order to promote and justify subsequent paid upgrades. With our licensing model, we do not withhold features. Instead, we deliver each new feature as soon as it is ready.
@@DigiDNANetOfficial I don't like that you limit the number of connected devices. It's too complicated... Would rather you withhold features like the good old days. its a bummer the way the new pricing is and enjoyed using the previous version and hope you reconsider how thats licensed
As great as the new software might be, I will not be recommending this software because of the licensing money grab. You have to pay $35 per device after you have connected the software to three devices or three old backups. Extremely frustrating with no alternative.
@@yukonrove , @DigiDNANetOfficial I've been trying to narrow it down between iMazing and TouchCopy. This 'Money Grab' feature is all I needed to tip the scales to TouchCopy. Pay once for 1 or 2 or 3 devices, your choice, or pay yearly is another choice, although why anyone would pick that is beyond me.
A backup is required, but this could be a data access backup, considerably lighter than a full restorable one, please see: imazing.com/guides/data-access-only-vs-full-backup-in-imazing
@@DigiDNANetOfficialI bought this product years ago and used it for the discontinued apps, but recently I found that I am not able to extract any ipa and reinstall that. So I searched for help and got this. Any explanation please? Thanks a lot
Does "rebuild from the ground up" mean that the current connection issues have finally been solved? I just finished a backup from my iPad. Had to start the backup three times in iMazing 2 and enter the device lock code twice. And of course backup over wifi was not possible so I had to fall back to usb.
Yes you can, this feature is continued from iMazing 2 as shown here: imazing.com/guides/how-to-manage-apps-without-itunes Also do not hesitate to reach out to out tech support team for any further question! imazing.com/contact
Just make sure you update to the last version, and yes the app management feature is a free one, but unsupported app will unfortunately be an issue -- especially if it is an iOS version support issue. But just get in touch with our support team they will certainly be able to give you a better answer and more guidance with a little more context. Open a support ticket here: imazing.com/contact
Hey dude can you help me man 😭 I accidentally deleted an app that was removed from the app like not where it's still in my library like it's deleted and I cannot get it back sir do you know how I can get it back I'm going to cry because my memories with it was on their I deleted it on both iPads because I didn't think their was a way to get the app back and now that I've found out with iMazing I'm going to cry so bad because I deleted it and I didn't see the app that was removed from the App Store on the search option and also I did not see it in my purchased apps because it was gone I tried searching for it everywhere and couldn't find it and also their is no IPA file for this app their is no way to get it back with all my data and restore it, I'm so sad if you can help me find a way I will be so happy. 💚💛

Hello Franco iMazing transfers files without altering them (regardless of the file type), there is no conversion, compression whatsoever. Hope this helps!
You should be able to, we have a video showing how to exit recovery mode here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nEj7VY7lAAU.html For more help please get in touch with our support team: imazing.com/contact
Hello, so I tried that option, but nothing happens. My iPod touch screen doesn't work (black screen/touch functions not working; is this why i cannot get out of recovery mode?) I was able to play music on my docking station (it was on perpetual shuffle) for many years. It wasn't until I tried to upload my iPod to my new PC that I ran into this issue. Is there any hope to unlock my iPod? Thanks for your input. @@DigiDNANetOfficial
We have 2 licenses types, a yearly subscription and a device license that covers the latter indefinitely. Please refer to imazing.com/licensing-policy ..or just drop a line to our support team anytime! imazing.com/contact
It costs £54.99 here in the UK . And the majority of users will be one off trying to recover from an old device . Far too expensive. Also apple seems to configure songs so they are no longer MP3. Does this software convert them back to MP3 ?
iMazing does not convert files, but the free trial will let you transfer up to 50 tracks so that you can give it a fair go! Also and in any case (licensed or not) our support team is always here to help! :) imazing.com/contact
Sad to see this doesn't have the ability to rearrange the apps on the PC. I figures it did but I just couldn't figure it out. Lets hope you don't include this in another release which we have to purchase. It needs to be in this release. This probably the number one wanted feature and it's not here. Sorry I upgraded.
exactly! Shouldn't the differences be the FIRST things they should showcase? And, also to explain what happens if you follow the prompt to download the beta version.. So the beta is a free download, and then what? When it's "alpha" you have to either pay for it, or "downgrade" to V2 again?..
If you own a license purchased after October 2020 for 2 your future upgrade for 3 is free, we explain the terms in this post: imazing.com/blog/imazing-3-mac-beta Just get in touch with our customer service anytime if there is anything unclear about licensing! imazing.com/contact
The new version 3 only allows you to link three devices then you have to purchase additional licenses at $35 each. This includes accessing old backups. Stick to previous version and don’t pay for an upgrade until they provide better options. PS version two does work fine in the newer OS on Mac. Don’t believe the warning you get.
Will this work for ipod touch 4th generation? I am losing my mind because all my music suddenly disappeared from my old laptop, which I hadn't turned on for at least 3 years. Now, my only copy of the music is on my old ipod touch with a water-damaged screen. Please, any advice you can offer?
Yes legacy devices are supported, but get in touch with our dedicated tech support team, they are always happy to help will respond in less than a day :) imazing.com/contact
